Otovent Adult Autoinflation Device

The first time I used this i struggled. But after that it was very easy to use. I'm still currently using it and although I can feel a difference when using it I'm not sure it's solved my ETA. I also have tinnitus so I'll need to go back to see the doctor. But on the whole I'm happy with this purchase. It's great quality and plenty of balloons to be going on with.

Super easy to use - and plenty of additional balloons for future use. Have been suffering from a feeling of fullness in my right ear and had been using a nasal spray. After a recent microsuction treatment my doctor suggested using otovent and although it’s only been a couple of days I’m staring to feel a slight difference. It does say to use for 3 weeks before you feel a real difference.

I’ve had both a middle and outer ear infection in my right ear. As a result, I have fluid behind my ear drum and it’s been driving me insane! I haven’t been able to hear anything and as I’m talking to people, it sounds like I’m half underwater. Also had a really annoying ringing in my ear! I’ve never had anything like it before and to be honest, it’s been a bit anxiety inducing to say the least.I’ve been using this regularly over the past few days alongside a couple of sessions of steam inhalation. I honestly think this has got the fluid moving as I can already tell my hearing is improving. I’ve also got to the point where my ear is popping and crackling more often (ie when I swallow or yawn) whereas before it didn’t pop at all.4 stars as I think it’s great at opening up all of your tubes to enable the fluid to drain however I think it’s quite difficult to get the hang of. At first, I was a little nervous of using the balloon and struggled to blow it up. I didn’t know how much pressure I needed to build. It helped me to get my husband to blow it up first (being fit and well) and then he explained how much he had to blow to get it inflated!I also don’t think the balloons have 20 uses in them. The first one I used was worn away at the point that it stretches over the plastic and the second popped in my face after a couple of uses.Overall I think it’s a great idea and for me personally, it’s been worth the money to start getting my hearing back.

This is ok for trying to clear out your ear canal. I had a blocked ear and got this as the pressure was building up. It did help a little and did ease some pressure but I just had to wait a few weeks for ears to become clear so not a quick fix

This product worked wonders for me and I would 100% recommend. I caught a flight home whilst I was slightly congested and my ears became fully blocked. I had suffered with blocked ears for a week and visited the Doctor Who prescribed me antibiotics however these did not help and I was becoming very restless and anxious in trying to find a way to rectify this I was upset and frustrated as I couldn’t hear a thing and thought this was something I would have to live with. I bought this product as I had nothing else to lose. I was sure it wouldn’t work. However after the first go my ears popped and I was able to hear again I was so relieved anyone who is suffering from middle ear or fluid past the eardrum I would definitely recommend this product. My ears aren’t 100% but they’ve gone from 15% to now 85%. The package tells you to use this product for three weeks which I will continue to do so and will bring it with me when I go on any future travels. Highly recommend.

This did nothing for me personally, and it was advised by my ENT and doctors to try this. I actually popped my ears and made them much worse using this, not saying that will be the case for everyone though, just that my ear issues are probably a lot more worse than what I was using this for. I would say that these caused me more pain, as they popped my ears when I used them.

I thought I had impacted ear wax because I went rather deaf in both ears so I went to an ear wax expert and they said it was glue ear which I'd never heard of. They recommended this and it really did work. Highly recommended for glue ear.

My husband uses this to help keep his ears clear. He has tube in his ears snd sometimes they clog up. He says blowing into this helps.

Ballon hat tatsächlich geholfen. Ich nahm parallel freiverkäufliches Cortisonspray und kaute immer mal wieder Kaugummi. Nach der Ballonübung habe ich zusätzlich Nase zugehalten, dagegen geatmet und geschluckt. Jeden Tag einige Male geübt. Es knackst in den Ohren...so ist es richtig. Ich konnte mir das erste Mal ein Eingriff beim HNO ersparen. 🙏. P. B.Nachteil: Das Produkt ist zu teuer, nicht verhältnismäßig. Aber Hauptsache es hilft.

If your condition is mild this may work but it did nothing for me. There was actually quite a wait while I waited for this to arrive so while waiting I put a large 2x3cm child's wooden bead in a normal party balloon and this actually worked better. The plastic nose attachment that come with these balloons is virtually no different in effect than a wooden bead kids use to make play necklaces.
