Only 3 stars because I purchased 2 bones. One arrived exactly as pictured, and both my dogs wanted that bone. The other one was very dark and they refused to touch it. It was also refused by 2 other visiting dogs. To my nose both bones smelled the same, but when a dog won't chew it? Hmmm.

I've been searching for an affordable alternative to rawhide, for my 9 year old Airedale/Australian Shepherd mix Dog. She absolutely shreds everything! Whips through treats in minutes. This lasted 24 hours! She chewed on it for two hours, hid it behind the recliner, pulled it out the next day & chewed on it 2 hours. Again that night. Seems to be cleaning her teeth too. So stomach or intestinal issues. She absolutely LOVES it! Will definitely stock up.
