Tough line, shipper was top notch, great stuff!
Amazing product, the line is extremely abrasion resistant and even with 30 lb line it still ties knots really well. I do a lot of braid to fluro/mono knots and this was very easy to work with. Low memory, but still very pliable and forgiving. I do a small local monthly publication with a piece centered on saltwater (and sometimes fresh water) fishing. Here in south/central Florida we take our fishing very seriously. Stumbling across a hybrid type of line like this, and not paying a premium for it, was an awesome surprise. I was skeptical at first, but I'm going to purchase some lighter weight of this same line for next month's trip when we go to do battle with some monster Reds. I have a brand new 7 ft custom rod that was bred just for inshore monsters. I hear Kastking makes reels too, so I might give those a hard look if the quality of their reels is as good as their lines. Personally I'm done with Penn's garbage these days, so it's either Kastking or maybe a Shimano. If you're on the fence about the line itself, try it. You won't be let down. Just FYI, the shipper even sent me a couple of cool stickers (which are now on my truck) and a business card in case I had any issues. Good customer service is hard to find these days. Sorry for such a long review, I didn't get paid or sponsored to write this, and I definitely paid for my own stuff. I make all of my purchases based on reviews though, so I wanted to throw a detailed review online. It's been a while since I was actually 'impressed' with a product and not just somewhat satisfied with my purchase.

very nice line, casts well. the only trouble i had was spooling it onto my reel ( ALSO A KASTKING 2500,VERY NICE) (and i have the 1500) but then again, i have trouble spooling any line onto my reels.

Kast king fishing line is a joke....
Do not use this line or the flurokote, this line is the worst line on the market... If you like losing fish and when you set the hook on your crankbait and watch that fish swim away with bait in his mouth or get in a snag and popping your line to get it lose from a snag... Then this line is for you, I thought I had a bad spool but the truth is they are all junk fishing line. U no joke have lost $80 in lures on this line and the bass will Probably die with that bait in there mouth.. Guys think of every review on Amazon look at the hords of user pics they give free stuff for doing a good review..I would say 80% of these reviews are fake you can tell, I had 4 spools of copolymer and 2 of flurokote, and the knots just break constantly on very slight pressure...I use Palomar knots on all my gear and even tried different ones.... Really wierd breakoffs u should never lose a fish on a simple hookset....And the best part they do not honor product I had to fight for 3 weeks to get this junk returned... Guys this line is a Chinese gimmick it is not worth it if you set a hook on 20lb line with a sweeping hookset not a kvd tournament rip there lips off hookset and it breaks there is a problem even lost baits from casting a bait like a jig and swap line breaks and jig or etc goes into the water 10 separate times....last King is a joke stay away there is no need risking a fishes life on this cheap junk stay away...

Unsure about this stuff.
12lb clear used for Carolina rig and 1/2 jigs. Had two break offs and trying to figure out why. Line was very rough, so unsure if it snagged up on something before the break. Mono of same size does not have the same problem

Good strong fishing line
The media could not be loaded. This review is for the 12 lb copolymer clear line. I have not been one has really paid attention to the brand of line and the type of line when I purchased for freshwater fishing. For me, if the line worked, didn't break easily and was a good price then I was good with it. This Kastking line has all of that for sure. The line is lightweight but very strong and reasonably priced for nearly 1000 feet of line. I have no worries that this will handle a big bass or catfish that I hook. As I try this out, this casts well and doesn't tangle easily. Is copolymer better than mono, I think is a matter of opinion but this is good line at a reasonable price and it works.5 stars

This line breaks too easily and way under what it's rated at
Sorry, I don't know where all the rave reviews are coming from. I always test my lines and knots prior to fishing trips. I got a spool of KastKing Copolymer with my KastKing Blackhawk combo. This line breaks too easily and way under what it's rated at. Perhaps I have a bad spool of line? Anyway, it's not worth losing that trophy fish just to save a few bucks on line. Do yourself a favor and stick with the household brands; Trilene, Strene, Maxima, PLine etc.

I used my first roll of Kastking Copolymer fishing line and I abslutely love it. It is small in diameter and doesn' seem to have a memory. It casts wonderfully. I used 30 pound test today on a tuna/dorado trip in a private boat off San Diego. I had it loaded on an Avet MXJ reel and used a Fenwick rod. I landed very decent size dorado as well as yellowfin and bluefin tuna in the 20-30 pound range. I would have no fears using this setup for larger fish.I will make the transition to Kastking as my exclusive fishing line for saltwater fishin (I don't fish in freshwater).I wish that this line were available in higher tests than 30 pounds. I need 40 and 50 pound test also. The only downside to this line is hat it comes in an unusual spool which will not fit on my line winding device. The hole in the spool is unusually lage and one side of he spool is not flat but, fecessed. I an going to try rigging a device since I like this line so well I am not going to let a simple thng like an unsual spool prevent me from using Kastking. Since I like the Kastking copolymer line so well, I plan on trying the cast king baid when I need to eplace my baided line.
