Good replacement for enforcer cam
The camera is great. Bought it to replace some of the cameras that came with the Swann Enforcer set. They do not mention that the enforcer cams have a spot light that stays on at night. It does not have night color vision, it has a spotlight to light up the area that you get to see in color. I do not want spotlights from the cameras on all night annoying the neighbors so I got these 4k replacements since there was no way to turn that off. Red LEDs for the b&w night vision. Now if Swann would just fix the macOS app to view the cameras with.

Great quality of picture.
The quality of picture is better than my original 4k cameras by far.

great picture quality
I replaced an old 1080P system with a new system using these cameras and a new 4K DVR. Great picture quality even when zooming in. I have 9 of these cameras and they are both indoors and outdoors and 2 are completley exposed to weather. When replacing and older camera system you MUST use the new cables with the purple BNC connector or quality will suffer. While the new and old cables look the same, they are not so use the correct ones. I have installed numerous systems using SWANN equipment and have had virtualy no problems with them

Picture quality leaves a lot to be desired. I wish my house wasn't already wired with BNC cabling so that I had more options for camera systems.

Customer service is terrible!!
I ordered this model as an add on to a Swann system I purchased separately. After I initially hooked it up the system worked fine for 6 hours and then the screen went black. I contacted Swann tech support. They asked if I installed the new cable wire that came with the unit. I did not as I already had a line run. So, I reran the new cable that came with the unit. Same result. Camera worked for 3-6 hours before screen went black. Tech support then advised me to eliminate any splitters on the power supply line. I did that using power supply units that were working fine on other cameras. I went through 4 different power supply units with the same result each time. The screen would eventually go black. Finally, I contacted tech support and asked them to tell me the exact power supply unit they recommended and I would buy a new one. They did not have a specific unit but only specs so I ordered a new supply from Amazon. The unit started working perfectly just as before and went black after 3-6 hours. I contacted tech support and asked how I could exchange the camera. The response was that this is a "complex issue" and I need to contact tech support with 2 dates and times that are convenient for me to be home so tech support can call me and work with me over the phone to resolve the issue. After 10 weeks of troubleshooting I am done! I just want to exchange the darn camera! Do yourself a favor and buy from a local vendor.

Reasonable camera but picture quality leaves a lot to be desired.
For a 4K camera, the picture quality is not as sharp when I zoom in.

motion detection so sensitive it can't be used.
all 8 cameras motion detection was so sensitive they went off every 30 seconds, even on the lowest settings. one cameras very loud alarm went off very often for no reason, even with the alarm turned off. another camera died completely. spent an hour and a half on the phone with tech support, they finally agreed to replace the 2 cameras. they sent me an email in which I was to respond to and show proof of purchase. but I had no proof of purchase. best buy was only doing curb side pick up so I was unable to get proof of purchase for a long time. I finally just gave up and bought 2 new cameras my self.

Didn’t work, no support
Camera only work as a B/W camera, no manual available through Swann, no tech support unless you are using a Swann DVR. Frustrating to be returned
