16x25x1 EZ-Pleat MERV 8 Air Filters (6-Pack)

I purchased the 16x25x1 EZ-Pleat MERV 8 Air Filters (6-Pack) for my home central air heating/air conditioner unit. I'm sick of paying a premium for air filters that last for a few months and cost a ton of money. These air filter work well to capture dust, dander and lints floating around the house. They are replaced every 3 to four months and are filled with brown crud buy that time which tells me they are working to capture air debris. I have allergies to pet dander and since installing them that has been less of an issue. You get a 6 pack of sturdy filters that work great, filter well, do not hamper or overload AC/heater flow for easily the cost of 1 alternative filter you can find in the store. Will order again and again.

The filters are good filters. They are the exact size they list on the description and fit perfectly into my two furnaces. The only draw back to these filters is that their MERV 8 rating doesn't correlate with what I noramlly purchase at Home Depot, I normally purchase Honeywell filters that have a rating of 7 and the Honeywell filters with a rating of 7 is still a slight better qualty in terms of air filtering and dust capture. Like a said these are good filters and a great value.

I like the MERV 8 they filter well without slowing down our furnace or AC. These are accordion pleated and have reinforcements on both sides. metal and cardboard.All six are wrapped in one plastic wrap. So once you open them they are no longer sealed. This is fine with me but thought I would mention in case you do not have a clean place to store them.I purchased 12 of these and they did not charge me extra for postage which I appreciated. It was a really good buy

These filters get the job done and are just as good as more expensive filters I have purchased in the past. I tape a note to my central air unit and switch the filter out monthly, which is affordable with these filters. If you let one run for more than 2 months you will notice it starts to bend from the suction being restrained, so my recommendation is to switch out monthly. We run our A/C often in the summer in KY with it set to around 73 on average.

Good quality and price is less than the retail stores.

I purchased a 6-Pack of these in September and am back for more. The price went up a bit but it's still a good deal. I was purchasing filters at the big box home centers and figured I'd try this. They worked out great. I can't tell the difference between these and the $10 / filter I was paying. My wallet like it too! Air flow seems fine. Through the winter I swapped them every 30 days and it worked well. No reason not to buy these. They are in my cart right now!

Ordered the 6-pack of 16x25x1 filters during the Fall of 2017 based on the reviews. The box arrived quickly. When I tried the first filter, I noticed it was slightly thinner and smaller than the other 16x25x1 filters I have been using. The first filter only lasted about 2 months before it got bent out of shape and sucked partly through the intake. After that happened, I started checking the 2nd filter ever few weeks, and it ended up suffering a similar fate after about 2.5 months. The problem is that the outer cardboard material is just too weak to keep it's shape, and with the slightly smaller dimensions it is very prone to get pulled past the metal tabs that hold it in place in the furnace. Otherwise, the filters do work, and for a different furnace model, they may be less prone to bending out of shape. Once my remaining 4 are used, I won't be buying anymore of these.

Price point can't be beat for a good quality filter. They are on par with most Merv 8 filters from home Depot. I've been using them now for about e years with great results. I run these for the whole house and then a in room filter during allergy season.
