Large Wave Round Glass Salad Serving Bowl, (Salad Hand)

I ordered 2 of these super nice salad bowls with thongs, fast delivery on time, big enough to toss for family salads, no chips, crystal clear heavy glass tho boxes were damaged on corners, *why I gave 4 star, they were placed into a bigger package which helped to keep safe in transit. Very pleased with purchase.

I love the hand utensils. Makes dishing out the salad a little easier to control portion. I can see using this bowl for other things besides salad. It's large enough to serve sides for Thanksgiving dinner. Nice elegant touch to add to the table.

I am overwhelmed by the quality of this item for the price ($20), Though it is glass, it has the "bright" clear "sparkly" optical quality of lead crystal, and you even get a strong melodious mid-range "ring," when you flick the edge of the bowl with your fingernail. It is not molded glass, so there are no seams, and there are no inclusions or imperfections of any kind in my bowl. The dimensions are exactly as stated in the description: 10" x 5.125" (at the peak of a "wave"). The clear plastic hand servers are also very thick and sturdy. They are almost too big for my girl hands, but I have only used conventional salad servers before, so I'll adjust. There is a chunky straight peg on the back of each server and I was amazed to see that they functioned very well to keep the hands "hooked" on the edge of the bowl...very clever. I am thinking of buying another set just in case I drop this one and break it in the years to come, I love it that much. The packaging states that it is dishwasher safe, but I will wash this by hand, because it truly feels more like crystal than mere glass. I could not recommend this more. Buy and enjoy! :)

This is a very nice looking salad bowl. Its not very deep but displays nicely. I was wanting it for salads but ended up using it on my table for things like fruits and veggies. The tongs that come with it are questionable they seem a bit flimsy and I am afraid they will break over time. I would recommend this but not at full price. You can certainly find other nice decorative bowls out there for a more reasonable price.

Bowl is large so works great for our family of four for a salad with dinner. Very sturdy and washes up well. A bit heavy but that goes with the sturdy comment. While we prefer long handled utensils the short ones that come with the bowl work. We are very satisfied.

I thought it's going to be a little big bigger than the picture. I guess I have to look for a bigger one or buy another one to be even =(

Wife loves this bowl. we have used it several times now. The bowl itself is a very heavy-weight glass (at least it feels like glass), looks great, holds enough salad for us and just works like it needs to.The included plastic palm-forks rest right on the side of the bowl. They make serving of lettuce a breeze and are easy to use.The only thing we do not like is that the serving forks are of super cheap plastic-feeling. Actually feels like they are going to break any minute. On a positive note, the look good and they work!

One was broken though!
