I really enjoyed this album, great to get my creative juices flowing before I paint. Or just when I want to unwind after work. I will say it is different from their first album, not as much pop or ska influence in my opinion, still super catchy.My favorite songs from this album were "Sway" and "Love it all". Overall truly enjoyable.

Great Brit-flavoured rock (see what I did there?). If you like The Fratellis, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, etc., you will probably dig these guys. I love the singer's accent. Cool songs, with poppy hooks and youthful swagger.

Love the Kooks. My kind of music.

At first Konk didn't seem to have the strength of Inside In/Inside Out which I absolutely loved, but after a few listens I've changed my mind. Whether it's haunting melody of a ballad or a beat that makes you want to jump around, this album is a fantastic follow-up. "Mr. Maker" is my current favorite track, but with songs this good, I'm sure I'll have a new favorite next week.

Album starts out strong with songs like Mr. Maker and Do You Wanna, fades out in the middle until it hits the low of Shine On, then slowly picks up until the album is over with. Overall its okay and youll probably get your value out of it, but it lacks the energy and consistency of inside in/outside out

I don't know why, but for some reason I expected more from this album. The album wasn't awful, but it's not something I'd opt to listen to.

Very good album. Very little variety in use of instruments but the songs are still great. There are upbeat tracks such as Do You Wanna and also more sombre ones like All Over Town. “Sway” is amazing and is the reason that I bought the album. Sway, Gap, All Over Town, and One Last Time are all firm favourites.

I was a little put off by the negative reviews on here but whilst on a long flight recently I decided to give Konk a whirl. I really isn't bad! If you like the singles you'll like the album, simple as. It's not a few good songs and the rest is pap.Perhaps I'm wrong but the thing I find with The Kooks is that they're a pub band - I just don't see their music getting played at a huge festival somewhere and sounding good. In a small sweaty pub, excellent though! Don't think this is a bad thing though.

this album has real kick, punch and the ability to cheer the party up,such a spectacular sound from such young talent, the production sound is amazing,tight and punchy, with great synergy between drums and bass, and guitar licks thatenter your head with brilliance and can produce ecstacy,great album, highly recommended,

I must be the only person who thinks this is better than the first (which I loved)The first relied on 3 -4 absolute stand out tracks, this one doesnt its more consistent but still very uplifting.And I recommend the special edition, RAK is mellow and slow but good. worth having.Now for that difficult 3rd album :-)

It's the not the kind of music I'd ordinarily listen to but good songs are good songs. This album is packed with them. It's really, really good. And that caught me as a massive surprise upon first hearing it. I still hate skinny jeans though.

Best album they've made by far love it!

Another great album from the Kooks, filled with brilliant catchy tunes, favourites definitely Always Where I Need To Be, Mr Maker, All Over Town and See The Sun.

This arrived ahead of time, in v. good condition-the card sleeve was undamaged, and it played fine

The CD came well packaged and came very quickly! I was a bit reluctant at first if the CD was quality guaranteed but it definitely is and it is in perfect condition. Very pleased

I love indie music and 'The Kooks' are such an easy listen. Such an uplifting band their songs are fab!
