High Quality
It's very, very good quality. I gave this to my partner as a gift and he adores it. It's fun to put together. It definitely requires a little sanding. It comes with a small square, but I'd recommend getting some very fine sand paper. A little wood glue can help, too, if you accidentally break a piece. (They do include some extras just in case.) Take your time, do it well, and you'll have a little working Jeep. It's amazing the detail that went into making it.

Top quality!
I have built all the UGears harder kits ( Big rig, cruiser sedan, locomotives, etx) and as much as I like them, this kit by Wooden City tops all of them. Is it difficult? Yes, but as with all of these upper level kits , you need lots of patience, but the One thing they have done, Ugears fails on, is they use pre cut dowels for the main gear shafts. These work so much better than toothpicks.Their rubber bands are much more stout as well. This kit came with 10 sheet of parts and was built into a wooden box instead of cardboard. A minor detail, but add to the coolness of the entire kit. This one is the most expensive, but you DO get what you pay for. I'm about a 1/3 into the build on this and cant wait to get it completed. I highly recommend this kit . I am now a big Wooden City fan! I hope they start selling more kits like this.

Fun-to-build mechanical model that looks good
I've dealt with mechanical stuff all my life, and I found this model fun to build. The mechanical mechanisms are interesting and would be very educational for young minds. They are a little more intricate than competing brands, and a few spots fit tightly and require care in assembling. I used pieces of the component frames as blocks to help push parts together. Definitely going to be building more models from WoodenCity.

Highly recommend build
It is a beautiful model and very enjoyable to build - I highly recommend it to any builder with some degree of experience. My one gripe is that even though I applied plenty of wax the model once wound only unwinds by hand - in other words the jeep does not move as a wind up vehicle. A small gripe really as I build for the enjoyment of the build and for the esthetics of the final piece.

Fun to Build, Disappointed in the End
This is a challenging, yet fun model to build despite some mislabeled parts and the small rubber bands being different than shown in the instructions (the company offered to send replacements if I sent pictures, but I found a rubber band that fit and held tension). It was anticlimactic upon completion. Once I wound the mechanism and clicked into drive, the model wouldn't move. I even took the back apart to unwind the rubber band and reset, but that still didn't work. All the gears are engaged but nothing happens when the stopper disengages with the mechanism. Very frustrating.

A great build
this was one of the hardest and best builds yet. The Drive train, motor, gear box is amazing. this is a solid build and wont fall apart. All parts are well fitted and tight. It runs great once completed. It took a long time to build. lots of sanding and waxing. It was all worth it. I would buy this again and will if the price drops.

Fun to build - but disappointed
I have really had a fun time building the Jeep. I have one issue: one of the "cards" was printed and cut a little off so the pieces don't fit onto the Jeep. I have wrestled with them, but they just don't match up properly. I have emailed the company using their web site but have not gotten any kind of response from them. At this point my Jeep is sitting incomplete and I can't move forward.
