Sometimes you get a tool and immediately it works perfectly. I use zinc channel to fabricate leaded glass windows and this small miter box couldn't be any more perfect for my needs. Cutting to my mark is easy and much more accurate than hanging the channel over the edge of my table. There's a couple holes in it allowing you to screw it down and a lip to secure it over your work table. The supplied hack saw is pointless, a decent one works much better.

Our acrylic washcloth bar in our shower broke in 1/2. It had an anchor behind the wall that would not allow us to remove it. We used this saw to cut it off, push it down into the wall behind the insert, and bought a kit of multi-sized caps to insert in the holes (secured with clear bathroom caulk).

The saw was great, but the guide is too easy to saw through. If you use the guide to try to make a straight cut, it will drift and start cutting into the guide itself.

The saw worked really well. But…the mitre block doesn’t hold up very well after using it for my molding install. The aluminum gets chewed up by the saw as it’s being used to mitre trim. To start, I bolted down the mitre block to a 2x4 piece of wood and bracketed it to my work table (see picture). Then, used black tape in the well of the mitre block to cushion the bottom when cutting trim. With a lot of patience, I (woman) got my DIY vinyl flooring and trim installation successfully done with this combination cutting tools. :)

I made a big mistake by purchasing this item. My mistake was not checking the size. I saw the last picture and it looked big in your hand, so this is not my fault only as the photo was deceiving. Second the mitre got sliced from the first day, it made it's own path in the aluminum and all what I was cutting was a half inch diameter wood. I won't recommend anyone buying this.

This is a great saw for tight spots. The frame is rigid and the blades are only about a quarter of an inch wide so it can be used to cut a curved line. I also keep one in my motor tool bag because this little saw is more versatile than a full size hacksaw. Get some extra blades because the blades are narrower than a full size hacksaw blade and break more easily when pushed hard.

You get what you pay for. Pretty flimsy EVERYTHING. Blade, handle and box. And to top it off product isn’t in an actual package. It’s delivered in little plastic bag with zip ties to hold the two together. But of course by the time it got to me both zip ties broke and blade was just out. Seems pretty dangerous. Invest in a name brand.

Super petit, ça va pour des petites sections et des epaisseurs fines mais ne comptais pas dessus si vous avez plus de 5 coupes a realiser.

Needed a cheap mitre block to do a quick trunking job and this checked all the boxes. I didnt expect a lifelong product considering the make but it did exactly what I needed it to do.
