Good Stuff

Optical cable arrived on the next day. I fitted it to my Amazon Studio and the TV. The mini plug fitting into the Studio Audio input socket and the regular optical onto the digital output from the TV. This optical cable certainly worked OK. However, there was a noticeable processing lag in the sound showing as a lip-sync issue on the TV channels. I can only think this is an issue in the Studio as it did not occur when TV connected directly to a Naim DAC. I swapped the optic link for the TV's electrical headphone out-put to the studio's audio in. This worked better with no lag. The cable worked well and was stiff enough to not crinkle behind the Systems facia. I did have some difficulty removing the cable from sockets as it fits quite tightly.

This was so badly finished it went straight back. The ends look like they had been made off with a hacksaw.Key to any optical cable is a mirror finish and perfectly smooth / glass like ends. This was neither.Cheap and nasty. The ends also had an overspill of glue from mft.Generally very disappointed but I guess the price should of been a giveaway. That said I have had some great cheap cables.Could not recommend this cable at all.Hope you found this review informative and helpful.

Cable is excellent quality. My TV can now be listened through my Hi-Fi. Great for Sky Arts or You Tube. Was looking at buying a Soundbar, no need now.

Pour brancher entre ma TV et écho studio. Ça marche normalement. Le son ne semble pas dolby atmos mais c'est peu être à cause de l'écho studio qui ne gère pas cela en optique.

C'è poco da dire... Fa quel che deve ed è robusto.Attenzione: lo standard toslink (come il coassiale digitale) permette di veicolare contenuti 5.1 AC3 o DTS, ma non ha banda a sufficienza per l'audio HD o 7.x, per i quali si è obbligati a passare dal cavo hdmi.
