National Public Seating(6524HB) - 24-28" Adjustable Premium Swivel Stool with Backrest

Part of the reason why I was interested in this stool was due to the fact that it is manufactured in the USA. The quality seems middle of the road- about what I would hope for given the price I paid. One odd thing about the seats...EVERY time you sit down the air hisses out of the cushion like deflating a balloon; annoying, but not enough to deal with the return. What I found really disappointing was the packaging and assembly instructions. It seems the company took the lazy route and sent hardware for two different styles of stool, leaving it up to the customer to discard a metal mounting plate, an Allen wrench, and a set of screws and washers for each stool. This was not a mistake! The assembly instructions (the last bullet point of the instructions by the way) state, "For this unit the mounting plate and its for screws are not needed and may be discarded." What a waste! Lastly, it is surprising my stools were not damaged, because there were no packing materials supporting the base of the stool.

Good basic shop stool. It is well built and should last many years. It's not as comfortable as some, but fine for how I work in my shop which is a combination of standing and sitting. I think it might not be great if you were trying to sit for most of the day on this stool. I like the fact that the height is screw adjustable instead of pneumatic. Pneumatic mechanisms seem to be the first thing to fail on many chairs and stools.

We had a stool already that has seen many many years of service so when I looked to find out if they were still made I was surprised to see so. this is why I originally ordered another because of the sturdiness and longevity of the first. this one did have a manufacturing defect but they are sending me a new one only 3 days after I had contacted them! great customer service and great products.

Solid quality, but very uncomfortable. The so-called pad is about as soft as a thick coat of paint, and doesn't extend to the edge of the seat. I sat on it for a week, then bought a stadium seat pad.

This is not an adjustable stool. It is also has a very flimsy backrest. I was very disappointed because I really need the higher 28 inch level
