I have several Oberon hair clips, they are very well made and I have not had one break, unususal as I have thick hair and clips ususally don't last long before the clip breaks. I have given several as gifts as well. Best clips ever!!!

The clip stays in my thick silky hair and doesn’t fall out like other clips. I have even fallen asleep with one on and the curved clip did not hurt me. Being made in America is a plus more me. I even had a hair dresser asked me where I got it and when I Amazon she said I had gotten my monies worth. These clips are so pretty that I purchased 8 different ones. Thank you Oberon!

Been over 5 years the two I bought are still in great durable shape after daily use! I wrote my first review back then and just can’t believe how top notch these barrettes are. I lost one and came back buying the same 100mm again. As I have lots of curly hair, it is difficult and never had I found any satisfying barrette to tie up hair without hanging around. After I found this brand, I have all my hair organized neatly ever since! Quite a life saver.So far I have had 3 and plan to get another just be be safe if I lose any of them and to pack as spare for traveling. Trust me…you will not find such quality and good price in anywhere else. Please keep this shop staying in business otherwise I can’t find anything to pin up my hair!

It's pretty and big enough for my VERY thick hair, but I had to put glue in the parts where the decorative metal is fastened to the clip itself because my hair got caught and broke every time I used it.

This is the second clip I have purchased from this company, the other was the gingko design about 3 years ago, and I love them. This is the *only* clip I have ever found that will hold all of my long, thick, but super-fine textured hair without damaging it or giving me a headache.I intentionally took a photo of it holding a messy twist at the end of the day to illustrate how well it holds. All the mess is from me touching the sides and being in the wind, but the clip did not have to be adjusted at all during a 14 hour day chasing my dogs and toddlers. Plus, it's pretty. I adore the craftsmanship in their designs. I can slap it on before a work out, or wear the same one with an updo and a little black dress. I plan to purchase more in the future of both the medium and large sizes. They don't wear out.
