Tremendo!! Very easy to use with patience and delicate hands. I rolled my own dough (meaning I did not use a mixer attachment or hand crank roller) and it was simple to achieve a very thin thickness. I recommend rolling to “paper thin” The instruction manual was helpful. In Europe they measure using grams and I thought I’d share my recipe for the dough - 3 cups “00” flour, 3 eggs, dash of olive oil. I added some water once I mixed them together as it was needed. The beginning product of dough can be deceiving; keep kneading and it will become smooth and elastic with persistence! I reused the excess dough trimmings from each round. My yield was around 100+ raviolis. I am so impressed by the simplicity. Great gift idea. I will be making many many more with all sorts of fillings!

I have used some of the pieces of this kit to make perfect ravioli with ease. I have not used all the pieces contained in this kit yet but all appear to be of the same great quality. Everything came nicely packed with a small cookbook explaining how to make your pasta dough. I love this kit (made in Italy) and have purchased other pasta making accessories from this company because of the quality. 03/06/2018 Update: Still using this kit and still loving it. I've had a chance to use more of the included items and I couldn't be happier with quality and performance.

This is a pretty good starter set. The rubber nubs on the underside of the ravioli tray keep it well grounded when using the rolling pin to seal/cut the ravs. Just remember to flour the tray well before pressing in the first sheet of dough other wise they will stick. A little bummed that I still had to use the cutting wheel to actually get them separated, but I typically use a thin dough that is slightly wetter so it stretches into the tray without breaking. P.S. I found a food processor makes quick work of getting a dough to the consistency where you can knead it. I also use the kitchen aid pasta set to roll the dough which works pretty damn good as well.

We just got this in the mail and used it right away! We tried the pan and also the stamp- style cutters. We felt the pan was easier to use but having the multi sized cutters is nice if you want to do a big, hearty ravioli. The rolling pin is a new favorite. Much easier than our standard rolling pin. We did use our pasta maker attachment on our stand mixer to “roll” the dough to the thickness we wanted, but you could just do it by hand. Making filled pasta is definitely time consuming, so this helps. We are already planning what kind to make next time.

My son-in-law was delighted to get this from us, and has made gluten-free ravioli several times with it. It's great for a cook trying out different cuisines, and affordable.

I bought this as a gift for my son-in-law who enjoys making pasta. He was delighted. It's quite heavy and good quality. I don't know if he has tried it yet.

I imagine these tools could be helpful for some, however we enjoyed making larger hand formed ravioli. Once you get into a rhythm forming them independent of the tool it's much faster.

We only used the tray to make the ravioli with the rolling pin, but it was excellent. Looking forward to using the stamps as well.
