Jeep Wrangler JK 7-Pin TRAILER WIRING OEM Mopar!

East plug and play, works as it should. Was great only having to run a single wire "bundle" from rear to front. I have a JKU (4-door) and the length was just perfect, no cutting and pretty much nothing to spare.

When I ordered this product I was told it would fit my four door 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara model. Upon receiving the product I learned that it is specifically for a two door Jeep Wrangler. I contacted the Mopar Sales Dept. Their response was that there is only one trailer harness made for all Jeep Wranglers. We went ahead and began at the left rear tail light. It took about a half hour to fish the harness under the Jeep and up to the engine compartment. Just as the sales department guy told me, we had plenty of harness for our application. The install was a breeze. I can't recall another Saturday project that was as easy. My only grip is that the Mopar instructions were pictures only. No written instructions. I still have to contact the local Chrysler Mechanic to figure what to connect the blue wire to that goes under the dash.The finished product has a factory look. I like the way it turned out.

As promised, direct fit for my jeep and the instructions were right on. Cant beat factory products and the finished product looks like the jeep was bought with it.

Massive disappointment! Right side lights didn't work from the minute it was hooked up. Then drove for an hour then it killed the the left side lights on the jeep. Shortly after that it started over loading the trailer breaks. Don't waist your time. Ruined the first day of our camping trip.

This is a nice wiring harness, but unfortunately it was not fully functional on my Wrangler Unlimited 2015. I ordered this assuming it was "plug and play", as it's advertised as such, fully compatible with 2015 wranglers, etc., but unfortunately, at least for me, this is not true. After installation I discovered that the right tail light on my trailer did not work, either while braking or just the right turn signal. After digging around online it turns out that sometime during 2015, and possibly into 2016, some wranglers have a different arrangement with regards to how the right tail light is wired. If it's run down the left side of the vehicle, then this harness works fine, if it runs down the right side, as in my case, then this harness is not fully functional. You'll have to splice in and run a separate wire from the right side light to complete the harness. This wiring difference happens in both right and left hand driving vehicles. Exact date of the change and/or which models it applies to is unknown, at least to me. If you have a 2015 or later, you may have some extra work to do to make this harness functional.edit: I should point out that the seller I purchased from only advertised 2007-2011 model year, but MOPAR itself lists this same part as compatible through 2016.

- Asked local stores how much for quote for parts and install? $275.00!! Have a boat with brakes so 7 way was needed.Found this OEM/MOPAR part great price! comes with instructions but I got lucky, while getting work done on Jeep I asked the service department to install for me, and they did because they key "Genuine MOPAR parts" would not have if otherwise. But due to time restraints I had them install...$100.00. So I got my wiring done for $175.00, you could install and save all together, I have a 4 door 09' Wrangler JK. No issues

Excellent quality. Difficult to properly route under chassy. Perfect fit.
