With my slightly larger hands, my pinky finger sat about 1/2 way off the stock base-plate - this made shooting uncomfortable and I didn't feel I had 100% control on the firearm.Added the Pearce extended grip to one magazine to try it out and my finger now sits comfortably snugly.Little difficult to install as others have attested - have to press in ont he sides of the magazine while pushing down on the base plate release and pull it forward. Lots of good videos on youtube helped me out though - 1st one I took my time on (5 minutes?) and after that I had the knack.Have since order 2 others and each one took me less that 2 minutes to install.Only complaint (reason for dropping a star) I have is that there is a tiny bit of a gap between the extension and the bottom of the grip (had a little pinch while shooting, but nothing painful).Ended up taking a small piece of foam rubber (little <1/8" thick) and glued it to the front of the grip - no more gap and really feels comfortable.
