Defense Soap Tea Tree Body Wash All Natural Organic Shower Soap 8 oz 2PK

I beleive this soap to be the best soap I have ever used for keeping the skin healthy. I am a person that is not big on herbs and oils and all that. I bought this product based mainly on the reviews that I had read. It has two types of oils in it. Teetree oil and ecuplyptas oil. During the past year I have had issues with fungas. Mainly due to sweating. If you ever get one of these fungas growing on your body you will find that they dont go away easily. I tried alot of different brands of antifungal creme and sprays. The cremes seemed to work the best but they take alot of time. When i tried this product out I was surprised to see how fast this stuff works. I had a little area about 1 inch in diameter and it was burning from the sweat. This stuff soothes the area and healed that same area in less then a day. IF you read the website on defense soap.com you will see that its made for atheletes. Mainly wrestlers and others that have bodily contact with dunge and such. Its not approved by the FDA so they cant say that it kills fungas but in a test they did with 8 pertr dishes of fungas it killed them all. The secret to this type of soap is that it doesnt kill the natural bacteria on your skin like alchohal would. This product encourages the natural bacteria to stay. For that reason your not likely to get recurrant infections or such so frequently. Another thing on this liquid soap is that its concentrated. Not diluted like alot of those bodywash type soaps are. It takes just a little bit to lather up. To me the oil smells strange but it seems to wash off when you rinse. I dont think that others would really notice the aroma from this soap. One thing that they would notice is if you have a fungas eating away on your skin! It seems as we get older the body has a harder time in combacting skin bacteria. For me this product is the best I have ever used. The only thing I could say to myself about this product was "Wow"! "It really works"!

I used to have itchy skin in some places and this soap has cured it so I'm a big fan. My skin feels very nice after rinsing the soap off and far different than any other soap I've ever used.

I read the reviews and decided to try this for my dry itchy skin. I live in a hot humid sub-tropical environment and have been itching like crazy for a month. I took a shower with this and the itch has stopped. The redness is gone also. I perspire a lot here since the humidity stays over 60% year round, and that leads to itching sometimes for most people here. I don't know what it is but it might be skin yeast. This totally relieves it. I had my doubts this would work but it does. It also lathers, which surprises me considering the listed ingredients: saponified oils of coconut and olive, jojoba oil, vegetable gum/glycerin extract, Aloe vera, tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil. I see nothing here that would cause this to lather. I am guessing a few ingredients are not listed. This should smell heavenly but it has a faint stink to it. It smells like a stinky version of eucalyptus oil. I use eucalyptus oil in everything and use it also in my bath water and in my oil burners to fragrance the house. This reeks compared to real eucalyptus, unless it is terribly rancid, but I'm not sure that's it since I've never smelled rancid eucalyptus. It reminds me a little of gasoline smell. I tried this on the back of my scalp and it is very sticky and makes my hair feel like it has gunk in it. But it did help my itchy scalp. Not good for the hair though at all. Anyway, if you have itchy skin that nothing helps, give this a try. I recommend it highly for that.

I have been using this body wash for years. It was manufactured just a short ride from my house, which made me feel good about supporting a local company. It rinses off fairly well. It smelled OK & the scent did not remain on your skin. However, about two years ago, the scent changed. It smells more like diesel exhaust & old service garage oil. I called the company & complained. They sent me replacement bottles, which also smelled horrible. I bought this one last bottle after I had used up all the others in the hopes that they had corrected their mistake. They did not. If you can ignore the smell as you shower, the product is fine. But if you are sensitive to smells, you might want to try the lavender scent. I do not like lavender, so I will just have to put up with the "peppermint" until I can find another body wash that rinses well & doesn't stink.

WOW! The best body wash I have ever used, and I have used a lot of them. Not only is it naturally anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, but it actually moisturizes me, and I am super picky about that. I strongly recommend this body wash regardless of your daily activity, as it will leave you feeling nice and clean and moisturized. I use with a plastic loofah, and it lathers up really well. Not sure about how it might lather in a wash cloth, but my guess it may not do as well there. The peppermint scent is awesome, and I am going to try the "original" scent next.

Love there’s a liquid soap version. Good price. Good on sensitive skin.
