Works only for a year
I bought Lacie D2 drive 3 years ago. It was working properly for a year then had a complete crash. I got a replacement with a new d2 drive and after a year i face the same problem. They promise for data recovery but it's only available in few countries. People in India buy this product mainly for data recovery system and we pay the same price, sometime more than other countries but still we won't get the option of data recovery. Now I get only replacement without data recovery that is annoying

Depolama olarak bir ürün düşünüyorsanız bu marka ve bu serileri gayet başarılı mac ile uyumluluğu var Ubuntu sistemlerde de kullanılabilir tavsiye ederim farklı sekment ürünlerini yillarca kullandım bir sıkıntısı yok.

Voldoet niet aan zijn eigen specificaties. Onbruikbaar.
Dit apparaat is onbruikbaar. Uitvoerig contact gehad met LaCie om het falen van Thunderbolt te doorgronden maar dat heeft niets opgeleverd. Thunderbolt 3 werkt niet. USB-C wel maar ik heb het artikel aangeschaft vanwege Thunderbolt. Daarboven blijkt het apparaat ook niet te werken via USB-2 toen ik contact wou maken met een iets oudere Mac. Nog nooit meegemaakt dat een USB-2 connectie niet werkte op dit apparaat en elders. Kortom onbruikbaar apparaat. De route naar het indienen van een garantie-claim door Amazon (verkoper) is voor mij niet duidelijk en misschien wel onmogelijk. LaCie claimt een garantie periode van liefst 5 jaar maar wijst naar de verkoper. Ik heb in de loop der jaren 3 LaCie harddisks besteld. De eerste was een ramp. De tweede werkt nog steeds goed. De derde (deze dus) is dus onbruikbaar. Geen LaCie meer voor mij.
