NOT intended to be put directly on skin!!! Way too hot for that and you'll burn yourself too! Very easy to use. I either put it on my back on a shirt I'm wearing or put it on the back of my underwear for my lower back. It hits the spot perfectly, the pain is gone! Perfect size and not at all bulky! You can take it anywhere you go and there is no smell to it! I highly recommend this to those suffering from lost back pain. It can also be used when your menstruating. Just remember, don't put it directly on your skin! It's 100% better than other heating stick on pads out there!

First, I do attach to outside of clothes, but usually that's a lightweight turtleneck.I have neck/shoulder issues.BECAUSE I put on clothing, it feels best if I'm LYING down as it puts it closer to my skin. I tend to put these on about an hour before bed. STILL warm the next morning!GREAT PRICE, BETTER than the better known one, and keeps my shoulder/neck WARM all night.I love ICY HOT and this is better and longer lasting and not as messy and no smell.For the price, I say give it a shot.

Love these. Most affordable and good for muscle pain/tightness. Lasts about 8+ hours. Just wish the glue solution would work a bit better!

Stickiness:Poor stickiness - they fall off as soon as you take your clothes down to go to the bathroom. I have had two of them fall into the bowl while sitting just shortly after applying it to my back. Durability:Minimal warmth - not enough warmth.

Mildly warm, adheres to clothing well, flexibility with movement good.

Bought these for my husband for his strained back from the gym, he swore they wouldn’t work and after putting one on him he felt instant relief! They definitely don’t work the 8 or 16 hours they claim, but you will feel relief for an hour to a few hours. He was using maybe 4 patches a day. They are easy to use, give pain relief, high quality and give the right amount of hear. I did think they were a little small, so really only meant to target a specific area. Will be ordering more!

These are good for sore muscles etc. that respond well to heat therapy. I have used them for a long time. And will order again when needed.

Updated 4/23/24 I opened two boxes that I bought last month, to find one pad that gave mediocre warmth. Three pads were completely duds - no warmth at all. The rest of the pads in boxes I’m not sure about yet. I have never had this happen before! A waste of money if all of them are like this.Previous review:I have used this brand for years and love them! They are of great value and easy to add to the part of your body that is in pain. They help me go to sleep when I’m in pain. Corded heated pads are not convenient, these are.Sometimes if you find the product has shifted during shipping and it’s not level, immediately after opening, you will need to shift the “sand” type product to get it even, but you have to do it immediately before it gets hot.I have chronic neck, back and hip pain. I try to put it over clothes. In the areas that I cannot, I just move it around frequently. There are areas of my body that are too sensitive for the pad without clothing, but my neck is not, thank goodness. I put a scarf to to hold it in place around my moving neck.
