Long Lasting, All-Natural & Money Saving Dryer Balls
Edited 12/26/2025: The original set of dryer balls purchased in 2023 finally wore out (plus new rescue kitten decided to attack & destroy several). 2nd set arrived this past week and between the balls & a new dryer, clothes are once again drying faster and little to no static cling. We bought these back in 2023 because normal dryer sheets were irritating our son's eczema, but we still wanted our clothes to be soft. We saw these here on Amazon and decided to try these out and was pleasantly surprised at the results! These dryer balls help dry your clothes faster and with less static cling. In addition, there is no scent that could irritate people with sensitive skin or allergies. These have lasted us several years now but with a family of just 3, we don't do as many loads of laundry as other families may so the longevity will vary depending on your usage. It's now 2025 and we will be placing a new order very soon as we've begun to notice static cling is starting to return and loads are taking longer to dry. As a side note, in case anyone is worried about the noise level of the dryer balls bouncing around in the dryer, we have never really "noticed" this unless it was a very small load such as when I dry a hand washed delicate cycle but then again, with the balls included, the run time was significantly shorter. Therefore, noise level was not an issue for us.

They work!
I wanted some of these wool balls after visiting a relative who used them and liked them. These come in a bag to keep them in. Before I used them, I tossed all of the balls along with the bag into the dryer and let them 'dry' for about 40 minutes. Just made me feel better to do that. My clothes do come out feeling softer and not wrinkly. As for static, there were a couple of items that were staticky but not all of them. However, I do know that with my relative's wool dryer balls they did that for a few dries and then the static wasn't as bad. Ultimately, I think it will be according to what kind of clothing and maybe even what time of year--like here, it is winter and very dry outside and inside. I didn't have any lint or residue on my clothes after use. I didn't find them loud. I put all of them in a load of regular clothes and every so often I could hear a dryer ball hit the sides, but it didn't bother me--I put a video of my clothes drying so you could hear it, and I was close to the dryer. I also did a load of towels and boy that's where I saw the difference! I don't use softener on my towels ever because it builds up on towels and will make them less absorbing over time. But these dryer balls made my towels feel softer and even thicker and fluffier--there was a noted difference. I would consider putting essential oil on half of these to use with my towels or sheets. I'm quite pleased with my order and only wish I'd done it sooner. Also, I snagged them on sale, so even better!

4 balls that will change your life for the better!
Wonderful product, have used several times since receiving them roughly 10 days ago with zero issues. These round, fuzzy heros are doing a superior job quietly performing all the duties dryer balls were made to carry out I.e. far less static than without them but my favorite perk is shorter dryer times aka laundry efficiency increased 3 fold, at least! The storage bag is made of quality material as well; and adorable to boot. I the future, if y'all ever find a way to add GPS and track their location my life would officially be be complete ๐ lol

Those are some serious balls
I have been using these dryer balls for about 2 maybe 3 weeks.. and so far they have worked perfectly.. I was unaware of how to use them at the beginning, only using one ball in the laundry at a time and still getting the occasional static. Once I looked up how to use them online and to use multiple for what size laundry load and or what material drying .. I finally got the static free results I was hoping for. Yay! Occasionally I still end up with some static but I thinks thatโs me loading the dryer to full. I submitted a video of drying a fleece blanket (I said it was in there for 5 minutes, it was more like 15) and taking it out of the drying with no static.. that makes me happy.. even dryer sheets couldnโt cut the entire electrical flow out of the fleece and I used name brand sheets (before). I started using these dryer balls because A) they are cheaper then continuously buying dryer sheets, B) they are way more convenient to store. As a matter of fact I donโt need to store them anywhere, I pretty much just always leave them in the dryer and C) my boyfriend was randomly having some serious skin (allergic) reactions to something all over his body. We didnโt know if it was the body soap, laundry detergent, or the occupational dryer sheets I would use, so we decided to go organic / pure with all of our products. Since using these he hasnโt had any issues/ breakouts. I would definitely recommend this product, Hope This Helps!

wool dryer balls
I've been buying and using these wool balls for years. I love them. They last about 2 years.. they work at helping to dry things more quickly. I purchased these as a gift. Everyone I share them with gets hooked. You get 6 in an order - I use 12 so I always order 2 sets. As for use as a fabric softner - I don't really think they work well as "fabric softners" - but they do work to keep the laundry separated and therefore the laundry dries faster! Worthy of a purchase in my opinion. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - nearly 6,000 reviews posted, viewed over 50,000 times, and over 24,000 likes. I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

High quality
I use 3 of these balls with every load of laundry no matter how big or small. I bought these over a year ago and am just now using my last 3 balls. They hold up for such a long time and are such good quality! I will definitely be buying them again.

Didn't know what to expect, but I like them!
We have been having a huge lint problem with the new GE washer and dryer we purchased last fall. Clothes, dish towels, sheets, etc. come out of the dryer with so much dog and people hair on them! We do have a golden retriever that sheds a lot, but we've had goldens for 34 years, so this source of hair is not new. Something changed drastically with this new GE set, and I'm still not sure what. Whenever I would wash my hands and dry them on a dish towel, hair would wrap around my fingers. When I wiped the kitchen counters, I'd leave fuzz or dog hairs behind. Ugh. After some research, I learned about dryer balls and thought they were worth a try. I didn't know what to expect, but they really work! They do make clothes softer. They do eliminate static electricity. They do eliminate a ton of hair on our clothing and linens. The clothes do dry faster. I love not having to use liquid fabric softener that are loaded with chemicals or dryer sheets that never break down in landfills. I love having a natural solution to all this hair. The only thing that wasn't so great is using the wool balls with polar fleece. Our fleece jackets come out of the dryer with short white hairs on them. But that's just a basic Laundry 101 rule: Don't mix lint givers with lint takers! I will just not use the dryer balls with polar fleece. They seem to be great with everything else, even knits, and I'm really happy I discovered them.

Recommended!
After the few test trials, I am confident to confirm that the dryer balls indeed speed up drying time if you do not overload your dryer (small- medium size clothings). I've put some essential oil on the balls in absent of not using softener, it smell heaven. Here is the bad news for those who are thinking to use for bedding (quilt cover, and sheets), let's be realistic, small balls will be tangled on large items and please put down you expectation. Otherwise, these dryer balls are useful, can keep your towels fluffy and your energy savings happy.

Wish I had bought these years ago?
Bought them as read a recommendation of using them when tumble drying a down jacket. They worked but are absolutely brilliant for everything. Instead of shaking bedding after the end of one cycle and putting it back in, in now dries in the first cycle. They just live in my dryer now.

Speeds up Drying Time, That Saves Me Money on Power!!
At first, I admit to being sceptical about the Wool Dryer Balls, but I decided to try them anyway. So glad I did! These 6 balls definitely speed up the drying process, I have much less lint every load and they leave the load with completely dry, a lot fewer wrinkles and no musty odours. Fast delivery, great price, and truly wonderful product! Anything that saves me money, in the long run, is worth buying! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Must have
Clothes dry about 35% faster and collars on shirts are no longer wet. Overall, it dries clothes quicker and prevents over drying.
