IT HAS TO BE MODAFIED TO WORK PROPERLY FOR YOU.
I love this great device. I always had to use 7-8 sheets of toilet paper to prevent (OVERFLOW), and this device stops that. For the price of toilet paper, it pays for itself in 179 days. I am finally able to show any past or future buyers of this Splash Guard the proper way to use it for 5-star results. 1. Take a one-quart freezer bag and cut a strip 1 - 1/2" wide by 4-1/2: long in the middle of the back of it. 2. Take a 2-liter bottle of soda and cut it so that the middle of the bottle, where it is smooth, fits in the bag. 3. Put the Splash Guard in the bag behind the plastic soda piece. 4. Either staple or tape the bag closed on top. 5. You need an elongated toilet with an open front. 6. It completely encloses the front of the seat so that nothing runs out. 7. I use 2 sheets of paper towels in case I don't put it on right. 8. For an extra 2" high, I bought an extra seat, and I put 1" toilet seat risers in it and tied them together with 2-sided Velcro. The first picture shows how I had to fasten my grab bar to the wall. P.S. When I am done, I take 4 sheets of toilet paper and push them down the Splash Guard to wipe it so that nothing drips on the floor, and then I take several more pieces of toilet paper to wipe the Splash Guard when I take it off the toilet in case I missed any the first time. Most of the time, the first wipe does the job. PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS PEE-GUARD. THAT IS BECAUSE THEY DON'T MODIFY IT FOR THEIR NEEDS. I TOOK BLACK GARILLA TAPE FROM AMAZON, AND I WIDENED IT FOR MY TOILET SEAT. I USE A 1/2 PIECE OF PAPER TOWEL TO WIPE THE PEE OFF OF MY PEE GUARD. ALSO INSTEAD OF PUTTING A COMPRESSION SOCK OVER THE TOILET SEAT, I NOW HAVE THEM FASTENED TOGETHER WITH WHITE VALCRO STRIPS WITH CLEAR PACKAGING TAPE TO COVER THE VELCRO STRIP AND TO KEEP MY BUTT FROM STICKING TO THE WOOD TOILET SEAT.

Doesn't work on elongated stools.
Didn't fit securely on an elongated toilet.

Works good
This was obviously something that would vary in fitment from toilet to toilet. Ours doesn't fit perfect, wanting to kind of fall in toward the toilet. but he is able to help hold it in place during use. It's definitely better than anything else i was able to find on the market.

Lots of promise in design, but needs changes to be functional
I like the overall design which is what drew me to it. Thought is would be lighter weight and easier to keep clean for the kid I work with. In the very first use I tested it. It didn't want to hold to the seat but when I used it it rested against my belly and was fine. *after sanitizing* I tested with the kid and he put it on just fine but within seconds his stream was so powerful and it had no room to go that it spilled the sides and top. He is a bigger kid for his age and it didn't fit between his legs well. He was giggly and fine with it but I was left cleaning him, the floor, his clothes, the toilet. I decided that if it fails on first use that I wouldn't put his mom through that and chose to return it. It has a lot of potential tl it changes and options need to be made on it. Like a bigger cup depth for one for heavy streamers. I opted for the well known design that I was trying to get away from. That ugly white splash guard that is so common yet hard to clean. This looked like a good change from that. *needs better spring/holding design, deeper cup depth, leg space and form options for different needs/bodies, needs something to prevent top spillage even if just a little lip...just to be functional.

Would buy again
I was a little skeptical on buying this due to its reviews however I would like to note this works extremely good for potty training a toddler boy. Block the pee from getting literally everywhere when he sits. Prevented a lot of messes. Also the size is perfect, not too big for my toddler. Would buy again!

Wouldn’t clip
This was bought to go along with a raised toilet seat for the elderly, which is what is seen in the picture. It wouldn’t clip to a thick seat. I even tried to clip it to a regular toilet seat and it fell in the toilet. Had to send it back.

Super Handy Potty Training Tool
This device has been super helpful with potty training my 2 year old boy. Attaching it can be difficult especially with there being so many different sized toilets but it worked fine on mine. I keep sanitizing wipes next to the toilet and pack some in the diaper bag if we have to use it in public.

Just kept slipping.
I'm sure the idea is good but just would not stay on place on porcelain bowel rim and after trying it for three days for the elderly gent who needed to use this in conjunction with a commode I've decided to return it.
