No Antiskid Base
Didn't even get all the pieces assembled before the mat skidded across the shower floor (when I stepped on it). Hard plastic webbing on bottom (which holds the wood together) has no rubber feet to grip smooth shower surface. So it kind of defeats the purpose of having a mat in the shower. Also, check with Mfr. on type of screws which are used to secure web-base to wood slats. If these aren't stainless, then you might have some rust stain issues down the road.
