Twice the capacity of the original at a much lower price.
Purchased two of the 6.0Amp Hour packs for my Makita 18V LXT series Drill and Driver set. The original batteries were only 3.0Amp Hour and had gotten to the point where they had to be recharged after only about 15 minutes of work and they had developed high internal impedance issues, meaning the drill would have a tendency to stall when applying pressure while drilling a hole. I've had these new batteries for about four months now. So far, I've charged them just once and they are still going strong. And I've used the tools for a number of projects now, and no stall issues. They are an exact fit for my tools and are the same size as my original batteries. My old batteries had no remaining capacity indicator display. These packs have a digital LED display that shows remaining capacity expressed in % when a button is pressed. So far, I'm very impressed.

Saved my Makita tool set
Great battery, just ordered my second one! Glad to give my business to anyone other than Makita since their original 3.0 Ah batteries all failed and they wouldn't replace them.I have a half dozen Makita 18v tools that I love, along with a half dozen worthless 3.0 Ah 18v original Makita batteries. Every single one of them had "died" within a few years and wouldn't accept a charge, even though they never spent a single day in the cold, or sat months without charging. All of them refused to charge, and after trying to find several hacks to repair them, I was unable to. I calculated my use of these batteries to be approximately 300-500 charges each based on work days, and average use.I pondered whether to throw away these tools I loved so much, or spend $90+ for a new Makita brand battery, which I would need several of. I decided to search for aftermarket batteries, and glad I did!

Failed far too soon...but Lives…. Seriously just buy it.
Worked great for a little over 3 months with every Mikita tool I own.Now I get the dreaded “defective battery” lights on my charger.Update: I decided To drain the battery completely using my Makita flashlight, Which seems to have fixed the battery’s charging issue. The battery seems to be functioning fine as well as taking a charge now. It’s certainly not as robust as a Mikita battery, but if it does last for another three months I may actually consider buying another one.Update II: I was definitely prematurely criticizing this battery. Although I had that initial issue. This battery has been functioning flawlessly for a few years now, most of that time being under some tough commercial use.. The dam thing survived a twenty five foot drop off of a man lift onto concrete ( I had to epoxy the case to revive it ) but it is still functioning perfectly a year later.

They fit and work well.
Battery arrived at 87%.Charged quickly to 100 %Works well on my Makita tools, including impact driver ,drill, chainsaw, and blower. All purchased here on Amazon. They fit well on the charger and all tools.Saved a good deal of money with these. They claim to work just as well on Dewalt and Milwaukee.Time will tell if they last. I will update if they fail.

Great value so far
As of right now battery holds charge and lasts as long as the factory Makita batteries I use. Charges same amount of time as well. I'd definitely buy more and most likely will if nothing changes by the time I do

Not good for heavy duty use. Sketchy seller and sketchy product
I think this aftermarket battery(6.0AMP) is good for the individual who is sinking screws or light duty drilling. I bought this battery for my Makita xph07 drill that I use with my ice auger. It lasts half the time of my 3:00 amp Makita battery. I do not recommend this for any sort of heavy duty use.**** Product update.****I returned the 1st battery pack and received my 2nd one. Which is a plus for the seller and their decent customer service, I decided to put it to the test right away. I drained the battery to 3-5% of the full charge(LED indicator is nice) and I gave it a full charge. I take my Makita XPH07 drill ice fishing with me. The ice is 24" thick. Using the speed setting 1 and using moderate pressure I can cut through the ice using any of my other genuine makita batteries. The other batteries will last their expected amount of time doing this cutting. I would consider this use as heavy duty. My 5.0amp genuine makita battery will cut 15 holes through 24" of ice. This battery that I am reviewing will barely cut 4 holes. By the time I am done with the 3rd hole, the battery back is too hot to handle and it stinks of electronics that are buring. The LED indicator shows it to be at 34% and then it shuts off completely. Even after letting it sit inside my house at room temperature it will not turn on or show a charge. My makita charger also gives me the red and green light blinking warning that the battery is broken. So after this occurs I decided that I am not going to mess around with this battery any longer. But damnit I am past the 30 day return date. So I messaged the seller through the AMAZON app and I explain that I am past the 30 days and I am asking for a refund of my initial purchase. I quote that the same reason they replaced the 1st battery is why I am asking for a refund instead of a replacement. The seller asks me to email their customer service dept(which is a hotmail address) I take this step. Interestingly they use a screen shot to show this email address. Which is clearly meant to avoid Amazon's word filtering algorithum for scenarios like this. Would you believe that their response is that they will refund my money provided that I change my review to 5 stars. Straight up extortion. If these batteries were really expensive I might sell my soul for a refund, but in this case I am going eat the $40 and save everyone else a headache here. Do not buy this battery. I found a genuine makita battery on Ebay for $70 and it's what I should have bought the first time. Also anytime a seller asks you to communicate outside of Amazon, expect a scam. Avoid this product and this seller.

I've had the best luck with non OEM batteries in this brand here
Since these batteries have become available for such low prices, I've never once considered buying the name brand! These work just as good and last about as long as they should. I've noticed no degradation over the last couple years that I've been using Waitley batteries.Don't be a fool and over-pay for batteries!
