Great light

Nicely made and very effective to create a good uplighting effect in darker corners of a room - can use behind chair, sofa, electronics etc. rather than having to have a big lamp standing there. Insert a LED bulb and it doesn't run hot at all. Only snag is that it is nigh on impossible to put a bulb in. I just unscrewed the case, inserted and re-added. LED bulbs will last for 1000s of hours so a one-off operation. Overall, this item does just what I wanted at a good price.

Pleased with uplighter but difficult to install bulb.

I received this uplighter today with Amazon Prime Delivery.It is slightly smaller than I imagined but it is very well made and sturdy.I bought it for behind my TV and it sits on the TV unit behind my the TV with plenty of room.It has an inline switch but I don't need to use it as the plug socket is positioned nearer to the front and side of the Tv, so it works really well.I bought some smaller diameter warm white bulbs and they were easy enough to insert as I have smaller hands and fingers...probably need to unscrew the uplighter at the base if you have larger handsAll in all this is a lovely uplighter and the copper colour adds to the warm white glow and I have got the effect that I was looking for in my living room...very happy with this purchase.

The unit itself is very solid and well made, it looks beautiful and isn't intrusive where ever you put it. We have used colour changing 5w remote control LEDs and the effect is wonderful! The dimming etc works fine with the remote . After trying one we bought several more. This was incredible value for money at under £15, I've seen the same units for twice the price with other sellers. Anyway very satisfied and absolutely love them!

Nice light, we placed on top of a small cupboard & it illuminates the corner of room just right. Easier to put bulb in than the pre-purchase reviews I read indicated. Simply use suction pad supplied and keep a little clockwise tension in place while releasing a small part of the suction pad with a fingernail.

Took 20 minutes to get bulbs in there the tool provided was. No use but good value for money

The light that comes with this is yellow/white which takes away a lot of the copper effect, it's a lot better with an amber light which costs £10ish.

Really great little up lighters. Just don’t bother with the suction cup thing, unscrew it, take the cylinder part off, put the bulb in, reassemble it, and you’re done. Takes a couple of minutes and, if you use an led, you won’t have to again for years.
