Recently purchased & tested with very good results, this little amp is a powerhouse gem. Great sound, EQ's, Bluetooth, headphone ready, nice reverb, a fantastic small powerhouse. Excellent investment, don't mess around just get one you won't regret it!

I use it as a PA in my house and I’ve used it to play on the street. Sounds great and it has a real XLR mic input. Separate reverb controls for mic and vocals is nice too. Super light and loud, especially for the size. I have the extension cabinet as well so it is powerful! Rechargeable battery pack is useful but expensive. The power plug is 12v 5.5mm x 2.5mm instead of the standard 2.1mm so if you need a power cable, make sure to check or get an adapter. lots of great videos of this thing in action on youtube

Blackstar Superfly was advertised as new but was old and defective. Batteries were installed and corroded.See attached picture.

Good tones out of a small practice amp. Didn't crank it up so don't know how loud it actually gets. lightweight, even with the batteries it comes with. Plenty of tonal options so you should be able to dial in a decent sound. Bluetooth was hard to connect (may have been my laptop though) but once connected it worked great. With the extension cabinet i'm sure this could be used for very small venues quite effectively. Good plastic build but not sure how road-worthy it truly is.

Surprising little amp that packs good clean punch on 8-AA batteries.Loving the dual channels with EQ and reverb on each channel. Perfect for a singer/instrument player. Easily enough juice to play publicly, busk, etc. It's a better deal to just buy some AA rechargeables than buy the official battery pack. I suppose I would be upset if I had to buy the AC adapter, an expensive add on, but I'm using the unit on batteries only so it is irrelevant. I'm probably going to get the add-on cab i'm so pleased with the amp. This is about the best deal going on a dual channel amp that actually sounds good.

this amp doesnt have a lot of effects. i would loop with my pedal & the loop layers started breaking up the sound of the amp. also doesn't come with a chord to plug in your amp! you have to buy separately which is like $30. you can get way better amps for a better price. i wouldn't recommend.i returned it and got the 5 watt rythm vox instead for cheaper and its way louder, sounds way better, and has effects. it's a keeper.

Blackstar! You cheap asses. You don't enclose a power supply and you refuse to sell the amp and extension cabinet as a kit. You try to sell us an overpriced bag for the damn thing and no power supply. As if that made any sense. What you should do is sell the amp and extension and include the damn wall worth for both amp and extension. Many of us are using a car battety with an inverter to power up, so we need the wall worts, so we're not having to constantly buy batteries or your over priced battery pack. Work with our already established set ups. Sheesh. You not in tune

I love this amp, but there are several short comings.Pros:-lightweight and durable-Bluetooth function works well-distortion gets pretty heavy-built in reverb-loud enough to play with a drummer(that knows how to draw back their velocity, not so much with heavy handed drummers)-battery life is pretty good(GET RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES AND KEEP OUT OF HEAT)CONS:-the accessories thing is ridiculous, black star needs to offer a package with every accessory.-there is a very small amount of interference when using the power converter.-really not many cons, it is a really solid for what it is.

Este ampli , es un equipo con buena terminacion , bastante volumen (no es una maravilla) , viene con un soporte de metal debajo para que lo puedas inclinar: es un detalle muy practico. Tambien viene con un agujero para que le pongas un adaptador y montarlo en un tripode de altavoz (eso estaria genial..)otra cosa buena es control de reverb independiente para cada canal de entrada (micro/guitarra) , tambien un boton para convertir el canal de entrada de guitarra electrica a acustica.El volumen..... le falta un poco , ya que va combinado con el gain... asi que si quieres tocar al maximo , has de distorsionar un poco , si o si..... ese es un punto negativo. tambien dire que si quieres distorsion , deberas usar una guitarra con pastilla humbucker (yo tengo una con Dimarzio superdistortion) , con mi fender stratocaster , solo llegas a una "timida" saturacion.... yo lo recomiendo , pero sabiendo sus limitaciones
