best pocket flashlight!
If you need a light for you cargo pocket, EMT kit, go-bag, lanyard, etc...then friend this is the light for you! I got one, wasn't a fan of the cost given it was just a simple small flashlight, but boy was a pleased how well it worked! Enough so i've gotten 2 more since for dropping into my go-bag for deployments. And where I go there are always mountains of AA batteries, so this light is perfect for me, because i can always get my hands on AA with no issue, and with little/no cost. I love the 3 "setting" of brightness, which are just a matter of bumping the button once, twice, or three times for low, med, high. But what i love is that 90% of the time i never need more than the low lumen setting to see in the dark, and keeping it mostly on low, I've been able to go months with heavy use on a single battery. But there have been times i needed the full lumen that this lil puppy packs and even then still gotten all the use I needed, i just changed the batteries (better safe than sorry) since they were abundant and free, but I've never had it die on me. The lil pouch is nice, esp if you need to wear it on your EMT belt, i chose to dump it and use the clip and keep in in my cargo pocket like a knife. On water rescue missions i throw it on a lanyard on my PFD as a backup for spotting the shoreline. bottom line: its pricey but i love it!

Nice little light
I just love this light. It uses one AA battery, it fits in the palm of my hand, has 3 brightness settings and will last for 36 hours on the lowest setting. It is not as bright as my car headlights but on the brightest setting (still lasts 1 1/2 hours) I can see clearly across any room in my house or across my front yard at night. this is a nice little light.

great small light
i like this light- it starts on the lowest setting, which is usually just what I need to see objects. This preserves battery life, and I like that. IT fits in my pocket, the clip has not let it slip out and get lost. It works, and seems study. I prefer the AA size, though not as powerful as a C123, if the battery dies, I can easily find another in any store or even in our stations battery supply. A very good light, and if you are not looking for a super powerful, this is the one.

Great little light
This is a great little light. It runs on one AA battery which can be found just about anywhere. It has three brightness levels; the brightest is surprisingly bright for such a small light. However, in my opinion as an EMT, even the dimmest setting is too bright to use this as a penlight for checking pupil reactivity, despite the manufacturer's claim that this is "ideal for pupil exams" (quoted from Amazon). And sadly, that was main thing I was looking for. I wanted a compact, durable, replaceable-battery penlight for pupil exams. I have yet to find one that isn't too bright. Nevertheless, this is a great compact flashlight, and is now my go-to for general purpose illumination. I also carry a 500-lumen Surefire Fury, which is great when you need a LOT of light, but it's often way too much for just checking something out. So this is now the flashlight I use the most.

Durable, works
Have been using this daily for work (RN) for the past few years. Functions well even after dropping it many times. It’s more silver now than blue from riding in my pocket next to my forceps and scissors.

A decent light for EMTs they can actually afford.
This is a good quality light for EMS providers they can actually afford on their sub-McDonald’s salary. It’s great for patient assessments, but I would recommend something brighter for lighting up a dark scene, such as the Fenix PD35 v3.0, which has been my daily carry light at work for years.

Weird “flash” when turning on
I tried three different examples of this light. While I like its design, the size, and the fact that it starts at a very low illumination level, all three had the same flaw. When turning them on, they would always show a brief “flash” of light. Two were returned to Amazon. One was returned to Streamlight for their inspection. So, either this is a ‘feature’ of the power regulation circuit of this light, or I got three bad ones in a row. The two from Amazon were only 7 apart in serial number. But the one from Streamlight was made in a different year. Perhaps I will try this again if there is a design change. Pity, because I have had nothing but good luck with other Streamlight models.

Can't live without it
This little light is my lifeline everyday. This is my 3rd one and it's in my pant pocket 24x7 . Not a flood light but for general extra close up bright light and a single AA battery (I only use Eneloop) this light is essential to me. Update: The EMS light defaults to low beam first click so if you want the high beam first click don't buy the blue one go for the 88061 model.

Good but not great
I rely on Streamlight products! I love the stinger series and so do pretty much the entire US police forces! This one however is a very expensive torch for what you get? Three modes but the brightest setting is the last one and you have to kick through the other two before you can use it? It sounds easy but it's tiresome if you just want max quickly! It also only has 50 lumens, and yes it's a ems themed torch but at near £60 it's easy out classed ?

Good high qualityband nice pocket size
Good high qualityband nice pocket size. But very frustrating and difficult to ccycle though the brightness modes should be built more like the sidewinder in the brightness modes.
