I had found a cheap version of this purse a bit over a year ago and literally loved it to near-death! Straps were breaking, zipper pulls were lost and the straps were too thin...never stayed on my shoulders in back-pack configuration in part because they were not adjustable. I found the same purse here for $60 (twice what I paid at a local store originally). Then I found this one! It is slightly larger, is good quality leather with webbing reinforced straps that are adjustable for just a bit more $. WIN! I love it.Other reviews showed concern for unfinished leather edges on the straps that fray a bit. I think it gives this casual leather purse character. Its not a defect. Also there were concerns that the leather scratches a bit. Of course it does...again, character. One point I did take notice of from others, was that the bottom corners could take easy abuse. My solution was to add 1/2 inch silver purse feet that screwed through holes I made with a punch tool on the bottom. I may add 1 or 2 more in the center. It looks sharp and helps protect the leather. I love it. Word to the wise: I bought standard 1/2 inch feet. The inside screw part was almost not long enough to allow the foot to catch. It was a struggle (but worth it). Just don't put it where the leather is two thicknesses (at straps or exact corners).Overall, this will be my everyday purse for years! I love that I can throw it on my back while shopping, etc.

Two of my friends bought this bag a while back and love it! I loved the versatility and decided to buy myself one for my trip to Italy. I found it to be a great travel bag, the perfect size for my needs. Unfortunately the zipper broke a few days into my trip. I was so bummed. I reached out to customer service and they responded right away - very friendly and accommodating. They shipped me a replacement bag right away.My friends have had no issues with the durability of their bags and so far my replacement bag has proven to be durable. I truly think my first was a bad egg...it happens.I would recommend to anyone looking for a uniquely stylish and versatile bag. Great quality backed with amazing customer service makes me a happy customer.

I think the best feature is that it tapers toward the top. This makes it look classier than an average leather backpack. It holds two wallets, small journal, and my 10-in Kindle fire with no problem. The front pocket has a magnet and is really only useful for small flat objects and a few pens. The zipper pocket in the back holds my jumble of keys and lipsticks. There's a nice deep in our pocket on the back that holds anything you want. Because it's at the top, it's easy to access and I use that for my credit card wallet and cash. The large dividing pocket in the middle holds my 6x9-in journal. I like mine and it seems to be really good quality. I've gotten a lot of compliments.

I was looking for a genuine leather convertible backpack bag. I am SO done with "PU leather", which isn't leather at all and cracks in cold weather. When I received this bag, I was pleasantly surprised by the look, feel and overall quality. The stitching is well done throughout the bag, the zippers and straps are sturdy, and the straps easily convert from a shoulder bag to a backpack. There are several compartments to keep items organized. I was concerned about items getting lost in the bottom of the bag, given the depth of the bag, but when the zipper on the main compartment is fully open, the bag opens widely, providing excellent access to all of the contents. Only time will tell how well this bag will wear, but it is exceeding all expectations so far. I highly recommend it.UPDATE: After several months of daily use, this bag still looks like it is brand new! I am hoping it will keep holding up. I have not been more happy with a purchase!

This is a great bag. I have been using it almost daily for over one year now and it still looks new. I get so many compliments. I constantly toggle back and forth between backpack mode and over the shoulder style so I was afraid the straps would fray. After a year there is no fraying at all. I can fit my small laptop and a notebook in it and although it might be in there snugly, there is still room for my wallet, a tiny umbrella, a tube of lotion and a few other random items. It has just the right amount of pockets—enough to keep everything in its place but not so many that you can’t find anything. I love it!

I contacted Customer service with a simple question and they went above and beyond what I expected.I am contemplating purchasing again, in black!

I am sending it back even though it’s so close to Christmas. I am so disappointed. This bag came looking like it had already been used and returned. Leather can look relaxed but certainly not scraped off on all four bottom corners the way this bag is.
