BoseQuietComfort 3 Ear Cushion kit

I was glad to replace my worn out ear pads. The new ones are of equal quality to the originals. The price of $35 is high but worth it.

Easily installed/ replaced original ear pieces. Look good. Feel good.

Was so glad to have found these as my older Bose headset had cracking and peeling that could not be stopped/fixed. Easily removed original one and popped on these - feels like new again.

Maybe I'm old school but when equipment still works, I continue to use it. I only replaced my ear cushions because the old ones eventually were starting to flake off. These were easy to replace and a lot cheaper than buying a new set of Bose earphones just because cosmetically they were drying out. Don't give yourself a reason to buy into the new series, just replace the earmuffs a keep flying in comfort without that annoying conversation next to you or the baby crying.

When the "vegan leather" parts on your headphones starts to break down and gets that sticky feeling it's time to replace them. These are genuine Bose parts. Clear instructions and easy to replace the old ones.

"Squeal"/"Whine" Issue:I've had my QC3s for almost 8 years now, and the last several years saw a significant increase in "squeal" or "whine" as many other reviewers know all too well. As other reviewers have already noted, replacing the old, worn ear cushions with these replacements immediately eliminated the "squeal"/"whine"! For those who have experienced these ear-piercing sounds, this amazing result alone is worth the cost of this kit.Sound Quality:At first the sound definitely seemed "muted" and "muffled" compared to the old cushions, but I fortunately found the issue. You must be sure to snap the ear cushions onto the headset around the entire cushion (top, sides, bottom). Press until you hear the snaps. Once I did this, not only was it more comfortable on the head, but the sound quality improved dramatically and would be hard to tell it wasn't brand new.

Since owning the Bose QuietComfort 3 head phones for many years I have gotten a lot of use out of them. Practically every business or personal trip they have come along with me for the plane ride. Of course like any product eventually you get wear and tear symptoms. The cushion part of the head phones started flaking apart and I had bits in pieces everywhere. I think it even impacted the sounds quality some as the seal wasn’t as firm anymore. I finally went ahead and order the new cushions from Bose and they came pretty quickly. The change out was very simple with the instructions that were provided. You just snap off the old and snap on the new. Of course I had to try them out after putting the new cushions on. The sounded and felt like they were brand new. I am highly satisfied with the product and would recommend to anyone that needs to give their headphones a quality refresher.

The product I received did not match the photos in the posting, and does not even remotely fit my Bose headphones. I returned immediately.
