Never put it away, use almost daily! Just wish that they had all the accessories like the other Philp models have (basket with a cover). Still learning how much I can do with this. Will be wonderful in the summer not to heat the house with the oven. Preheats FAST! EASY to clean!.

Don't buy the black model. Although it looks nice and glossy (once you cleaned it, because it came kind of dirty), it gets very easily scratched, especially below the display, as the basket and pan can touch that surface when removed or put back. I am sure that over the next months the nice looking black finish will get very scratched unless you use a microfiber towel to clean it. Plastic feels cheap. French fries and southern style fried chicken came out great and crispy. However, I wouldn't recommend it to bake cakes, even small ones. This is because the rapid hot air crisps the surface of the cake, leaving the inside undercooked, and it is not faster than any regular convection oven. On a much brighter side, the same occurs with meats, leaving them juicy on the inside. Philips insists on providing customers with operation manuals that are very unfriendly to read, as they are massive sheets of paper folded into zillion faces in order to include every language. You need to deploy the thing on a large table... or the floor. The product comes with a recipe booklet. However, recipes are few. I would have expected the noise of the machine would be a regular and quiet humming, but instead, it sounds as if the fan is kind of loose and it collides with other parts, like a very very old range hood.

Parfaite. Soyons clair, ça reste des frites au four... Remplie très bien son rôle. Pas d'odeurs' peu d'entretien... Les frites-maison en 20min croustillantes à l'extérieure et fondantes à l'intérieur. Pas besoin d'intervenir (pour retourner les frites en milieu de cuisson comme chez certaines marques, par exemple) (PS: la notice est en anglais/danois etc... Mais on retrouve très facilement la notice en français sur interne sur le site de Philips). Notons tout-de-même qu'elle reste chère !

Ecco quindi che, per bilanciare tentazioni suggerite dal diavoletto dei grassi saturi & insaturi e i buoni propositi dell’angelo del primodell’anno, hanno inventato la FRIGGITRICE AD ARIA (altrimenti nota come “macchina dell’aria fritta”). Viene proposto come sostituto della maligna padella di olio bollente questo bauletto in grado (presumibilmente) di friggere patatine, supplí, mozzarelline e simili con un solo cucchiaio d’olio. Diciamoci la verità: manco per sogno. Il prodotto finito non ha niente a che vedere con le patate fritte, nemmeno lontanamente. Ma suvvia, che cosa vi aspettavate? Un miracolo? Questo cubo di plastica nero è in realtà un prodigioso altoforno in miniatura! Cuoce perfettamente le patate in 20min, griglia peperoni e melanzane in 15 e così via. Il risultato è gustosissimo e leggero leggero, e per i pigri (qual sono io) non c’è neppure bisogno di pelarle, le patate, perché la buccia viene bella croccante. Oltretutto vi consente pure di risparmiare sulla bolletta del gas, perché quando fate il preriscaldamento -20min necessari per portare il fornocubo alla fusione nucleare- e la cottura, la temperatura di cucina si alza di almeno un paio di gradi. Riassumendo, i pro: -Consente di cuocere verdure e (a detta del ricettario incluso) carne e torte in pochissimo tempo e praticamente senza grassi -Facilissima da pulire (basta un tovagliolino di carta) I contro: -Monolitica (la large occupa più di un mezzo metro cubo, ma se prendete la versione medium/small il prodotto finito basta al massimo per due persone normali, o 3 a dieta) -Non frigge Nonostante la bugia bianca della promessa frittura, siamo contenti dell’acquisto. Ma se dovete farlo anche voi, siate consapevoli che i miracoli non esistono.

Wir haben sonst immer eine Friteuse im Einsatz gehabt aber seiddem wir den Airfryer haben sind wir davon weg. Zum einen war es immer nervig mit dem vielen Öl zu hantieren und der Reinigung und zum anderen natürlich der hohe Fettgehalt. Geschmacklich ist eine Friteuse natürlich hervorragend und logischerweise kann der Geschmack nicht 1:1 sein bei einem Gerät welches nahezu kein Fett benötigt. Wenn man sich aber mal überlegt welchen Aufwand man mit einer Friteuse hat und welchen Dreck dieses Teil produziert dann kann man auf jeden Fall mit dem Airfryer einen guten Kompromiss finden. Der Airfryer bietet wirklich viele Möglichkeiten und ist eher als ein "Allrounder" anzusehen als ein Ersatz für eine Friteuse. Viele Dinge können hiermit zubereitet werden, die eine Friteuse nicht kann. Geschmacklich ist zu sagen das der Airfryer wirklich gute Ergebnisse liefert aber natürlich muss man ein wenig experimentieren, denn es gibt auf Verpackungen für Tiefkühlkost keine Zubereitungszeiten. Das muss man ebend wissen. Aber auch hier kann Google helfen. Das sollte nicht abschrecken vor einem Kauf. Die Verarbeitung des Gerätes geht in Ordnung aber ist auch nicht perfekt. Die Farbe Glanzschwarz ist nicht sehr praktisch, denn man sieht alle Fingerabdrücke und es sieht doch recht schnell fleckig aus. An den Ecken und Kanten ist das Plastikgehäuse zum Teil nicht ordentlich verarbeitet, also hier sollte Philips nachbessern. Das Display ist schön übersichtlich und völlig ausreichend, die Bedienung klappt bisher einwandfrei. Sollte man während der Garzeit mal nachsehen wollen wie weit denn nun der Inhalt ist, dann muss man entweder das Gerät am Display stoppen oder aber den Korb während des Beriebes rausziehen. Was hier zu bemerken ist, dass sich das Gerät nicht ausschaltet wenn man den Korb bei der Zubereitung entfernt. Das finde ich nicht so schön. Das Teil läuft also einfach weiter. Hier sollte das Gerät erkennnen wenn der Korb entfernt wird und sicherheitshalber stoppen, und beim einstecken des Korbes wieder automatisch weitermachen, so wie eine Microwelle etwa. Der Korb entspricht dem einer Rotofriteuse etwa. Nicht gross aber auch nicht klein. Kleiner sollte er nicht sein, also die kleine Version ist unserer Meinung nach zu klein, selbst für eine Person. Legt man los und schaltet das Gerät ein, rauscht er leise bis mittellaut vor sich hin. Aber es ist im Rahmen und für die meistens nur wenigen Minuten völlig ok. Zusammenfassend ist zu sagen das wir es wieder kaufen würden und es ein tolles Teil ist. Wir hoffen es hält lange. Sehr praktisch, der Reinigungsaufwand ist minimal und die Ergebnisse toll. Schmeckt wirklich gut. Wir finden es ist nicht wirklich schlechter als eine Friteuse. Man muss sich mit den Zubbereitungszeiten und den Temperaturen einfach beschäftigen und vielleicht mal aufschreiben, dann klappt das auch. Preis/Leistung Note 2+

Had this air fryer a philips HD9240/90 for two days now and used it twice, I got the warehouse deal one for a 100 pound less. First off i have to say it is a quality product, you notice this firstly in its weight. it is a good 2kg heavier than other air fryers of a similar pan size or larger. The first thing we cooked in it was normal frozen chips, when filled to the maximum allowed in the pan and holds about the same as our deep fat fryer, maybe a bit more, which is good for 3 servings of a decent amount of chips per person, could stretch to 4 servings. 24 minutes cooking time at 200 degrees, a slight shake of the basket after 12 minutes, although it did not really need that as the chips do not stick to the pan or each other. The taste was fantastic, much the same as a normal deep fat fryer, not as dry as you might think they would be, so no more deep fat frying for us. After the chips were done i put in two frozen quarter pounder beefburgers for 8 minutes at 180 degrees, it was still warm from the chips, and it cooked them to perfection, just the same as the frying pan only no fatty oil to contend with, they also tasted great. We tried chips again the next day and sausages, and again they came out perfect and tasty, Will give it a rest for a few days now, even though the food is a lot healthier than a fat fryer, we dont want to over do it. I could have chosen a cheaper product, but this philips had the best reviews, and was a bigger model than other philips air fryers, so i took the plunge and went for this one, although the amazon price is 250 pounds normally, that was too expensive, so i waited for a warehouse deal or the term used, came up in the description, and was lucky enough to find one before it was gone, only for a slight tear in the box, i can find no marks on the fryer itself, pricing history for this model has its lowest price of 120 pounds for maybe a day back in may, so a. camelcamelcamel price watch could come in handy to notify you when the price falls, New year sales might have a good sale price for this model . I would recommend the philips models with the starfish design in the pan, as i think this does actually do what it is supposed to do, it circulates the hot air under the frying basket as well as at the sides, because all the chips were fried evenly. Cleaning this product is fairly simple to do after each use, or even a couple of uses, but no more, every couple of months or so it is advisable to clean the heating element as well with a mixture of baking soda and water mixed and poured into a spray bottle, their is a few youtube videos to show you how to do this properly, so i will have to give them a watch nearer the time . I realize i have only tried this out twice, but i could not be happier from the limited use i have put this machine through, i had to write this review, i was so tempted to go for a cheaper fryer, it may have been just as good, but i did not want to take the chance, i did plenty of research on google and youtube before deciding on the philips brand, and then it was a matter of finding the right size one for out family, this is so good i am tempted to buy a second smaller model one, so all the food would be ready at the same time, but as the cooking time is so short, their is not long to wait after the chips are done to cook sausages or beefburgers and the like. At this time i would highly recommend this brand and model air fryer, if anything changes in time, i will come back and edit this review, but fingers crossed, the deep fat fryer will be thrown out, i was so sick of all the steam from that blasted thing, no matter how many windows i opened, the steam would not got out the window, only fill the kitchen up with that greasy sticking mess, the philips does give off a small bit of steam, but nowhere as near the amount of the deep fat fryer, and not the greasy steam of the fat fryer either. Hope this review is helpful to other potential owners of an air fryer.

In pratica è un mini forno elettrico ventilato e pertanto fa tutto quello che riusciamo a fare in forno tradizionale ma in tempi molto più rapidi e con minor consumo di elettricità in quanto non si deve preriscaldare, si scalda in pochi secondi e cucina in pochi minuti. Per ora, a parte la carne, c'ho cucinato un pò di tutto e i risultati sono straordinari (e senza girare gli alimenti a metà cottura!!): le pietanze impanate vengono croccanti come non mai, una meraviglia e senza aggiungere un filo d'olio. Straordinario anche per riscaldare il pane o la pizza in appena 5-6 minuti (cosa che neanche il miglior forno a microonde fa bene). La capienza è molto buona per 2/3 persone ma consiglio vivamente di comprare a parte l'accessorio "Philips HD9904/00 Accessorio doppio livello Airfryer" per aumentare la superficie di cottura (nel caso vogliate mettere a cucinare due o più pietanze contemporaneamente senza sovrapporle). Per finire aggiungo che in funzione è discretamente silenzioso (il rumore è simile ad una ventolina/estrattore da bagno) ed è molto facile e veloce da pulire (cestello e vasca rimovibili e lavabili in lavastoviglie o nel secchiaio in pochi minuti). In pratica lo consiglio a tutti, per me è uno strumento di cottura che non può assolutamente mancare in una cucina moderna, come al tempo lo fu il forno a microonde. Per me è stato il miglior acquisto per la casa del 2018!
