I really enjoy creating art, and I have a number of glues and adhesives I lean-on when I work, and this is one I keep in my arsenal at all times.Loctite Ultra Gel Control Super Glue is one of my favorites because it adheres to so many things, and is more of a gel in nature than some more liquidy options. Because it's a gel, you have a lot more control when you're using it, and it isn't as susceptible to drips. It goes on clear and dries clear without clamping, and as long as you keep the top tight, it should last a nice long while.When using it, it should be held in place for about a minute, and then left undisturbed for about ten minutes. This gives you a little bit of wiggle room for most tasks. A full cure is achieved in 24 hours.It features a rubber-infused technology that creates a flexible bond, but resists impact, twisting and pulling. It works in all temperatures and conditions, and can be used for repairing figurines, costume jewelry, cameras, toys, metal car parts, and more. It bonds leather, cork, paper, cardboard, wood, chipboard, fabric, metal, ceramic, rubber and hard plastics such as Plexiglas, polycarbonate, polystyrene and PVC. I have always used liquid glues and always got stuck fingers when it dripped on to my hands while trying to fix something. This also happened when I tried to puncture the tiny hole at the top of the tube to get it started. Glue would always spurt out with barely any pressure on the tube. I kept a bottle of nail polish remover handy. More frustrating was the fact that there was hardly any glue in those tubes. So much was wasted.This gel sure makes a major difference. First, the directions for puncturing the top are that you twist the top until the clicking stops. I have no idea what is going on in there, but it sure beats trying to do it the other way. When I took the top off, no glue came out until I gently pressed the sides of the bottle as directed. GEL! So nice to be able to put a drop of glue where you want it, and not have it go where you don't! This container is rigid everywhere except on a small strip on each side where you can gently press to expel the glue.The name of the game here is "control". You will have control over this glue, it will not be a race to get the dripping glue where you want it. This gel sets far faster than the liquid so there is no need to hold anything together until it sets. No more need for massive piles of newspapers or other coverings under your project. A simple sheet of paper towel will be adequate. This will free you from "glue anxiety". Not to mention the embarrassment (fun?) of having to pick off stuck-on glue from your fingers for days. Get it. You'll never go back to the drippy stuff again.

I needed to attach rubber from a shoe to a sheet of silicone. I had previously tried six different families of tape/glue (including Gorilla Glue and 300LSE), and nothing bonded the rubber with any strength. And everyone knows you can't bond silicone, except with more silicone.Imagine my surprise when I found this glue sticks to both substrates and made a strong bond. That's not even supposed to be possible. (Note that it doesn't bond all silicones.)The "toughened" aspect of this glue also works well--I glued a few small pieces of galvanized sheet metal, and had a very difficult time getting them apart. Glue normally won't hold sheet metal like this, since the metal bends and the glue snaps. Resistance to this effect is called "peel strength", and this glue has it. (Warning: gluing metal requires surface prep.)As much as I like this glue, the dispenser has a problem. It's precise, fast to open/close, and you won't get glue on your finger, but it takes much more force than expected to get the glue out. As I use more of the tube, it gets harder and harder to squeeze. I was almost unable to do my latest repair because I needed both hands to squeeze the glue dispenser. I think that before the tube runs out, I'll have to stop using it due to not being able to squeeze hard enough.

This is a very trustworthy brand of products which is why I purchased it over others. It was packaged and shipped very well. The performance of this glue is spot on as expected and very easy to use. It really doesn't take a bunch of the product to bond the items your trying to fix together. Be careful not to glue your fingers together!

Excellent product

I seriously love this stuff. I originally found it because I was looking for a glue to bond plastic pieces together and this was suggested to me. I haven't regretted it at all.Obviously this is a pretty permanent glue so it's not appropriate for something you only want to hold in place temporarily. This stuff is great for something you want really bonded and won't fall apart!The fact that it's a gel makes a great product even better. The gel goes exactly where I want it and I don't have the issue of glue running down my piece or getting all over my fingers.Highly recommend.

Nice that it is a gel and doesn't run. Easy to use with the side grips. Dries clear and quickly. I glued a small magnet to ABS plastic. I tried to pry my pieces apart about 10 minutes after applying, and couldn't do it, so it's very effective even not waiting the full cure time.

Should be nore insde. Looks like after a few drops it's empty .Great bottle . Does not dry. But the amount. Mmm. Its a rip off

I was surprised that it worked so well.One end of the stainless steel handrail had completely come off from its wall mounted holder slot.At first I applied the Loctite only to the inside of the metal slot which is mounted on the wall. However the rail didnt stay in place for more than 2 minutes. So I then also applied the Loctite around the rim of the joint between the rail handle and the fixed metal slot. This worked !!

I got this glue to fix some jewellery that was broken and it worked very nicely.
