Waxed Canvas Compact Military Duffle Bag, 11 x 7 x 6 In, Water-Resistant

I bought this knowing it was a compact bag, and at roughly 11 x 7 x 6 inches, that's exactly what it is. This isn't something I'd use as a weekend duffle. It's more of a grab-and-go bag for keeping a smaller collection of items together. The waxed canvas is what really gives it character. I like the rugged military-inspired appearance much more than a typical nylon pouch, and it feels appropriate for tossing in the truck, taking to the garage, or using while traveling. There's enough room for things like charging cables, small tools, toiletries, emergency supplies, or other odds and ends that would normally end up scattered around a larger bag. The compact size actually makes it more useful for organization because I'm not tempted to overload it. The water-resistant material is another nice feature. I wouldn't treat it like a waterproof dry bag or intentionally leave it sitting in the rain, but some added protection against an occasional splash or damp conditions is welcome. What I really like is that it doesn't look like a toiletry bag or generic organizer. It has that old-school military gear appearance that should look even better as the canvas gets some normal wear. Not every job requires a giant duffle bag. Sometimes I just need something small, tough and easy to grab—and this fits that role perfectly.

This is a good quality bag. It is made well. I specifically bought it for transporting ammo for range sessions. It will hold up to heavy weight. Could you use it as a tool bag for the car or truck? Yes. The OD green is fine, does not need to be a specific color, and this color does not draw attention. I like canvas bags. The bottom is rigid so the bag stays square, which is a good feature. I have several other bags similar, from different manufacturers over the years, and this one is replacing an old Army butt pack that is way past its prime. I like organization. A bunch of small items stored in a bag like this are not going to be lost. If you bought a few of these, you would find a purpose for them. I may buy a few more to give to friends / family.

I work fire in rescue for my main career field, and I use this bag every single shift to carry extra things I would need, like socks, a notepad, and other various things, and I’ve never had a issue with anything falling out. I’ve been tossing this bag around, dropping it, heavy it around various sharp and dirty objects, and it’s been perfectly fine held up for about two years now. I enjoy the appearance of the bag as well, but what’s most important is it’s decently water resistant along with the internal and external organization is perfect. It has interior pockets well as some outside pockets for smaller objects. I don’t mind the color of the bag, but I wish there was some more options. Overall, I definitely buy this bag repeatedly because it gets the job done

I attempted to leave a very positive review on this tool bag but for some unknown reason Amazon said it wasn’t up to community guidelines. Funny thing is that Amazon headquarters and I happen to live in the very same community, Washington state. So I will give it another try. First off it was never purchased with the intent of putting anything in it. As you can see by the photos that it is pulled over the headrest of my mobility scooter. My 29 year old Greenwing Macaw rides on it. Prior to the canvas bag I had a bunch of ugly towels wrapped around the headrest. The canvas bag is well made and the snaps and zippers are top notch. The canvas is thick and is everything that canvas should be. But it also has a quality that is not normally considered but I considered it and that is gripability (my new word)! My macaw loves his outings and rides with gusto. The tough canvas allows him to grip it with his incredibly sharp and strong Talons. He can handle any bumps, corners or sudden jolts. Yesterday I noticed that he had been giving it hell on the front corner where a heavy seam is and over the amount of time that he has worked on tearing it open is impressive. He has an extremely powerful beak and with all the chewing that he has done I’m impressed with this canvas bag and its toughness. So much so that today when I decided to spin the canvas bag 180 degrees, putting his self damaged corner to his rear and putting the new undamaged corner in front, I decided to purchase another one. That one will actually hold my tools I use when working on my mobility scooter. So if Charlie (my Macaw) decides to rip the other corner up I will just trade it for the new one holding my tools and put my tools in the old one. It will still be in perfect condition for holding my tools and Charlie will have a new one to hang on too. A win win situation. I highly recommend this tough canvas bag for anyone needing it for whatever reason they have. Probably the only thing that it would not be good for is being a soft pillow. Way too tough for that.

Great bag for the range or for your hobby materials. I use it to keep my watch tools and my extra watch accessories. Enough room to pack everything in a comfortable way and strong materials will prevent anything form the rain or harsh weather. Good protection from the elements or from any falls. Great size allows for easy carrying and for holding a lot of stuff. I am very happy with the color, quality, and durability of the bag.

Good wuality bag. It is used to hold two 200’ hanks of paracord, a knife, scissors, and a plasma lighter in our RV emergency supplies. The strap makes it easy to carry. I have not gotten it wet so I speak to its water resistance.

Nice strong very small bag. It is much smaller version than the one on the photo next to the guy on the truck. The photo is deceiving. The sizes given on another photo are correct.

Good and cheap little carry bag for anything - I bought mine to store a smart battery charger rather than pay the exorbitant cost of a genuine case. Would be nice if offered in different colours.
