Mega Bloks Halo Covenant Drone Outbreak Building Set

Bought for my son for his birthday. He pointed this out at a store about 6 months before I ordered it. Put it in my wish list and when price dropped I ordered it (dropped from 29 to 19). Putting it on my wish list helped me to remember it was what he wanted and when he opened his present he was delighted I remembered, thanks wish list!My son is a big fan of Lego and Mega Blok. He thought this set was great and I saved $10.He wanted it for the figures but after assembling got his other Spartans and played with the vehicle. He was happy how well it rolled and thought it was a great accessory to his collection.

This is another neat little vignette. The set is comprised of a 6x6 truck, a small building facade, two Spartan figures and two of the titular Drones. The Spartans are a Reach-style JFO and an official figure of Jorge-052 with his trademark heavy machine gun. Also included are three metallic barrels and a tripod for the machine gun. The last photo in my series shows the kit-supplied Drones reinforced with Drones from other sets to represent a proper outbreak. 😉

A lot of work ahead of you. My kids turned 10 and this was part of their bday present. Instructions are a bit tough. I recommend finding the PDF on the Mega Blocks site as the detail on the instructions are a little better. What ever you do, do not lose one piece or you are ..........Took me an 1 1/2 hours to build. Most of that time was trying to figure some of the directions and which pieces it was asking for.

The product was great but someone else bought the same gift so being the nice person I am I agreed to return my gift !

This "game" was one of the highlights of my grandson's day and the first toy he played with after he finished opening my gifts. He played with this and added 20 men from another Halo gift to make a fortress. I consider this a very successful purchase!

I am 18 years old but I love building halo mega bloks because it lets me make something with my hands that I can feel accomplished from. That being said, this build wasn't the most fun but I was very very pleased with the outcome. Overall, I was pleased with this set.

Another win for the gift-giving of young boys! Crazy how they go nuts for this stuff. My hubby liked it too and we're running out of surface space to keep all of the builds together. Hours of fun but takes time to assemble.

My 7 year old boy is in love with halo and these sets from Megablocks keep him busy for hours. I would say most of the sets take him a day or two to build which is good for him and great for me haha

It's good overall I liked it, however not much room as i thought to store troops

My 12 year old says: An incredible product with highly detailed mini-figures and vehicles. Pretty good value for money. Fits with any other megablocks you own. Would recommend this to anyone and everyone interested in the Halo franchise.

Like most mega bloks products the instructions are a tad difficult to follow but that is my only real complaint apart from the JFO Spartan (Blue) left leg and body disconnect easily.However the Product looks great, Stickers are relativly easy to apply. Mini figures are excellent and really do Jorge Justice in this set.The drones are kind of frustrating to put together would have prefered for them to be pre built.The small structure is good. with lots of options to put your figures.In Conclusion a great set and would recommend for any collection.
