SUNSUGAR SUN SUGAR TOMATO SEED ~ SWEETEST TOMATO AVAILABLE ? - EXTREMELY SWEET - Very Early Cherry Tomato - 50 - 55 DAYS (0015 Seeds - 15 Seeds - Pkt. Size)

I had read negative reviews prior to purchasing these seeds. I wanted to grow these specific tomatoes and usually am able to find starter plants, but all were sold out. I recived seeds in a clear small plastic zip loc bag attached to the purchase order. I researched our local extension service, and determined to soak them overnight prior to planting. I only needed two plants, but planted 12 in pots in order to get at least two. Thirteen plants started! They are a ways from growing any tomatoes, but the plants are growing nicely. This variety is sweet and tastes a little like oranges. They are wonderful Good luck!

The seeds germinated well and my plants are loaded with fruit. Unless you just can't grow anything you won't be disappointed. These will even tolerate the heat and humidity in the south.

I bought these seeds and my tomatoes are beginning to ripen now. These are NOT sun sugar tomatoes. I have grown sun sugar tomatoes before and these are more oblong and not nearly as sweet. We have one sun sugar plant from a greenhouse we purchased to fill a hole and those tomatoes look far different. I am so disappointed.

There great. I eat them before they get the the house. Our geese and ducks are in love with them as well.

Arrives in a regular business size envelope which I thought was appropriate for what the order is. There is a tiny piece of foam paper to help protect the seeds. The seeds I thought were pretty dark in color and I have to admit that surprised me. Maybe I am just used to my own saved seed. Last year I used up the end of my seeds that I had saved and totally forgot to save some seed for next year. The price seemed okay, but I do have concerns due to the color of the seeds. Time will tell. As far as the tomato itself, it is incredible. You can walk through the garden and eat them like candy. If you are introducing your young kids to tomatoes, this would be an easy one since it so sweet. Last year, my daughter found a recipe for Sun Sugar Tomato Ice Cream and it was so incredibly good and such a beautiful color. If you haven't tried them before, I highly advise it. I live in zone 4 mountains so I don't have enough time in my season left to plant these, but because I have some concerns with the color of the seed, I will probably try one seed to see if it germinates okay. Otherwise, I start my seeds near the end of February so I have a healthy sized plant for my raised beds as soon as it becomes warm enough. Looking forward to more of these tomatoes.
