Nice Lights
Bought these to replace original landscape lights that were weathered. Great lights.

Nice Lights
Good quality metal case. Easy to assemble. The sliding hood allows you to adjust the beam. Only potential issue I can see is that while the lens itself has a gasket to keep moisture out, the connection to the base which has divots in it so your fingers can install the bulb, has no gasket. It looks as if water could leak in through the divots even though the lens is tightened over them. Even if water doesn't leak in, it might condense on the inside because it's not a gasket seal. I haven't experienced this potential problem as it hasn't rained here yet, but it looks like it might happen. Other note: mine are pointed up at about a 60 degree angle and the hood is pulled forward to the maximum position. Moths are attracted to the light and it fills up with dead ones about every 2 weeks blocking the light. A simple blow into it clears them out. All in all, VERY happy! My front yard had a more expensive brand costing $65 each. These look almost exactly the same, work just as good, and are a much better value . I ended up buying 4 additional ones.

Great quality
I bought several of these to replace damaged lights in my lawn. They are of high quality, built from a mixture of sturdy plastic and metal. In the summer, you can replace or install a new one in just a minute. Open the clamping mechanism, position it on the power wires, and press it closed -- a pair of pliers makes it easy. I say "in the summer" because when the temperature is below 50 degrees, the power wires' plastic coating hardens and makes the installation much harder.I had a professional install some of these, and he said that they don't use the clamps, they cut the wires and splice them in for a more secure fit. That being said, I've had no problems with the ones I put in myself becoming disconnected.

Electric cord is very short.
I got this light to replace an old broken light made by a different vendor. The quality looks as good as the old light, and this one is much cheaper. This is one of the few landscape lights available that uses MR-11 bulbs. That was important to me as I had a MR-11 LED bulb that I wanted to reuse. Don't believe the specs in Amazon's listing that says 24 volts; this is a 12 volt fixture. The light is very easy to install, and the quick-connect works well.My only complaint is that the electric cord is very short, only a few inches long. If you are using this light in a new instalation, or if the main electric supply is very close to the light, it won't be a problem. Otherwise, you many need to splice additional wire.

Easy to install and works great
I originally installed Malibu lights around my back yard 10 years ago. One of the lights finally gave in to the children and pet abuse. Rather than replace the entire set, it was great that Malibu still sells replacement lights that work with my 10 year old lights. It was easy to install and works great.

Waste of time, poor design
Arrived unassembled in three sections. No instructions. No way of knowing which sections to assemble first so as to stop short wire from getting even shorter. Pigtail wire far too short. There is a gasket on glass lens, but none on where lens cover attaches to main casing. (From experience, this opens the door for ants and other bugs to get into fixture and make a home, accumulating debri which causes issues over time.) Bulb socket far too deep in casing causing it to be too time consuming to try to get pins of bulb to line-up with socket. Even by trying with a needle-nose pliers (gently) to get the bulb into the casing and get the pins to line-up was undoable, given there isn't anyway to see around the bulb while getting the pins anywhere near the socket. If there is a way, instructions would have been appropriate. If you like spending far too much time of frustration assembling and installing each light when it should only take a few minutes on each light, then this is the product for you. (I'm not inexperienced with low-voltage and landscape wiring and lighting. This is the worst light I've ever tried to install. Nearly all others I've used take but minutes to install.)And, one of the lights arrived scratched. Maybe due to each light was wrapped in a thin plastic bag, put in a box and packed in packing peanuts. If it was me, bubble wrapping each light would be much more appropriate given appearance counts.

Bulbs burn out fast!
The light fixture is nice and sturdy but we hate when the bulbs burn out (too often) because they are very difficult to replace. My husband grumbles every time he has to replace them. Broke many bulbs in the process.

It looks nice and works nice
It looks nice and works nice. I didn't bother with the quick connect and just hard-wired it to my landscape wire. It uses the pin-type bulbs that have the reflective dome surface built into the halogen bulb, which didn't help me when I bought replacement LED bulbs that don't have the reflective dome. For now I rigged some aluminum foil, but I am going to see if I can find a cheap flashlight that has a removable reflective dome to better reflect the LED light. Otherwise, this is a hard light to beat for the price.
