Nerf N-Strike Reflex IX-1 Dart Blaster Blue

purchased this for my niece who is 5, she loved it, the perfect size and fairly easy to operate. It was her favorite gift

I bought this to scare the cats when they're being naughty. (Like sitting on top of the bird cage.) I had tried the N-Strike Elite Jolt Blaster  Nerf N-Strike Elite Jolt Blaster , but it was too powerful. I was afraid it would hurt the cats or break something. This doesn't hurt, even when hit at close range. (We tested it on each other.)The darts are nice and soft, but they don't whistle. (I thought the whistle would help scare the cats.) When I looked for extra darts, I learned that some are harder than others. I ended up with NYCCO darts  NYCCO N-Strike Elite Dart Refill (100 Darts) Includes 25 Deco Darts , which work well.As for persuading the cats to get down from forbidden places--It doesn't work quite as planned. They aren't afraid of it because it doesn't hurt. But they do jump down so they can play with the dart when it hits the floor. :D

Cool concealable nerf gun. shoots maybe a little less than 30 feet. Cool looking and pretty good overall.

its a great gun and very cool but it arrived on the last day that it was supposed to come. but its and older gun so duhh

After I received this gun. I was going to play with it, with the boy I take care of. I loaded it and shot a bullet, but the trigger felt a little weird. I shot it about two more times before it just broke. It wouldn't reload. I tried jiggling it, and I tried reloading it about ten times before i showed it to my brother who has two just like it. I asked him "What's wrong, did I do something?""It's broken" is all he said. So I returned it and they gave me my money back. Returning it was straightforward and easy. I wanted to get a replacement but they didn't have any to replace it with, so I just ended up getting my money back. When I bought it, I got 'super saver shipping' because I bought something else too and it added up to $25. If I wanted to buy another one of these I'll have to wait until i need to buy something else that qualifies for 'super saver shipping'. The gun is in stock now, but not when I returned it.This toy would have been fun if it wasn't broken, or if I could have gotten a new one. oh well. I still probably will end up buying another one eventually because they are fun, just hopefully it's not broken.

This is another addition to the growing Nerf N-Strike line but not necessarily the greatest. It technically is great but from my experience, it's not all that fun and there is not much you can do with it. One feature I don't like about it is that the handle is so small that even my 5-year-old little brother han only hold it with 3 fingers. I know that on the description it states that the Reflex IX-1 is a "Compact stealth blaster" the fact that the grip is so small bugs the heck out of me. Although, I will give it some credit because it was made for little kids and I'm a teen. Overall it is a great toy, but personally, I wasn't at all impressed.

This is a fun little toy to use in conjuction with a larger weapon. As darts are shot at you and miss, it is easy to reload and has good distance, though aim is to be desired. HAVE FUN!

We really had a great time with this toy (outside of course). My son had a wonderful time playing with it. I'm not a fan of guns, but this one was fun to play with. Plus, I like how they do not call it a gun.

Hallo,diese Nerf habe ich mir am 1. Mai 2013 bestellt und konnte es nicht mehr erwarten sie in der Hand zu halten!! Sie ist klein und super handlich. Mitgeliefert wie in der beschreibung schon beschrieben eine Nerf N-Strike Reflex-ix1 und 3 Whistler Darts (Pfeifen wenn sie fliegen). Sie hat eine Tactical Rail und man kann einen Gurt daran befestigen. Sie schießt ungefähr 12 Meter weit. Diese Nerf 'Spielzeugwaffe' ist vollkommen ungefährlich! Man sollte aber trozdem nicht auf den Kopf zielen das tut nähmlich aus nächster Nähe schon etwas weh aber trotzdem sehr weiter zu empfehlen!!Gut:Sieht gut ausSchiest gutSehr handlichGut zu moddenSchlecht:Man muss nach jedem schuss nachladenIch(10) würde diese Nerf Pistole auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Sehr gute und sehr schnelle Abläufe.Anfängliche Skepsis meinerseits hat sich nicht Bestätigt."Geschosse" völligungefährlich.Hat meinem Enkel sehr großen Spass bereitet.
