This swing seat will last a long time. It is thick and the hardware is sturdy. I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone wanting a swing seat that will not have to be replaced for a long time.

Well built

Excellent, heavy-duty swing for a quality built set. I was designing and building a set for my family that would last for many years, and be big enough that anyone in the family could join the fun. I built the frame from 4'x4'x12' legs and a 16' beam of 3 2"x6" sistered planks. I used 3 of these swings and some heavy duty swing hanger hardware with some large chains to make the connections. Be sure that you are prepared to use the right hardware for this because the brackets on the swings are quite large. I think I wound up using 5/16" quick links for the chains on both sides. The seats are very well constructed and very comfortable for both adults and kids. We had everyone in the family ranging from 4 years old and just under 40 pounds to 40+ years old and over 240 pounds swinging for all we could muster, and these swings kept a smile on everyone's face. The material looks like it belongs on a county park, so I have no doubts that it will last many years here. I'll update my review if I find any issues in the future, but for now, these were a great value.

This swing is awesome. We bought it to replace those awful plastic swings that no one can fit their butt on. It’s the old school playground swing, can’t ask for anything better.

My daughter is 14, weighs 140lbs, and swings often. Today the rubber swing ripped in two while she was swinging causing her to fly through the air and land on her back and arm. I don't know if it is typical to wear out in three years or if there is a weight limit for these swings. Wanted to post to prevent others from getting hurt.eta: 09.22.19We thought maybe it was a fluke, but a second swing broke. The metal plate inside the rubber rusted and tore. We are now looking for new seats that will hold up better. This product says it is good for up to 600 pounds so weight was not the issue. Maybe they need to be replaced every two years to avoid injury.

I weigh 320lb and it holds me with no issue so I say it's good to go.

Great quality for long lasting safe play. Built a large wooden frame swing set with swings, trapeze, climbing rope and climbing wall. No power tools! Hooking up the swings was the fun, easy part.

We just received these and have not installed yet. We bought to put on a swing set my husband is building himself. These are a little pricier than others but the quality looks top notch. We also wanted it to be able to hold not just kids but adults to. We look forward to using these this summer, will update once installed.
