It is a stand alone book with no cliff hangers. It is in the series but even if you read no other book in this series you won't be lost. I love all of Anderson's contemporary romance books! The only problem is the price we have to pay for these books. Most desertcart books are $2.99 to $5.00 but Ms Anderson's are like Sandra Brown and Nora Roberts.. just too expensive to buy. I wish you would reconsider the price you are charging. I would love to buy more but cannot afford it. If you see from my account I have bought nearly 600 books, you will understand why I cannot afford to buy books at this price. I am an avid reader but if these prices continue, will have to return to the Library where I can read books for free. What a shame thjat would be as I love the E Reader. Anne

I really like the writing of this author. It is interesting and the story line is always good. The only problem is the price we have to pay for these books. Most Amazon books are $2.99 to $5.00 but Ms Anderson's are like Sandra Brown and Nora Roberts.. just too expensive to buy. I wish you would reconsider the price you are charging. I would love to buy more but cannot afford it. If you see from my account I have bought nearly 600 books, you will understand why I cannot afford to buy books at this price. A survivor’s love story
A story about a woman escaping her abusive husband, she was running scared and blamed herself for getting involved with such a terrible man. But underneath it all she wasn’t stupid, and she meets this great man that is patient, understanding and loving. A man who helps her become strong and gives her horrible ex-husband what he deserves. A great read!

Loved it
Star Bright is a part of the Kendrick/Coulter/Harrigan series and I just loved getting to reenter this amazing world. This is one of my favorite books in this series. I was just drawn in and I just felt so much for these characters. I can’t wait to read more wonderful stories from this author.

excellent reading
the first i think in learning of the original Coulter family even tho they started out as Paxton's it became the Coulter family when Eden Paxton married Matthew Coulter then they had Jack ,Zeke, Tucker and Isaiah, Hank and Bethanny which led to another Family series I fell in Love reading the Harrigan's ... which once again I have wished I could have lived in their small town just to know them...Catherine Anderson knows how to draw you into the lives and loves of these characters ... here is a Harrigan family book Love these books

One of her best
This is one of my favorites -- we all see the headlines of so & so being tried for the murder of a wife and we all think "well why the heck didn't she LEAVE???" -- well this is one who did, and we never think about how difficult it would really be to "disappear" from a spouse with money and enough of a control-freak to find you so as to leave "no witnesses". This is the kind of story Catherine Anderson is really good at ... she understands "damaged people" and she also understands the limits within which our justice system has to operate. And a long the way developes a really good love story that goes beyond "I love you, let's jump into bed".

My Favourite So Far
I cannot fault Catherine Anderson, this may just be my favourite book so far!! I loved Rainie and Parkers love story, he is so patient and they build a wonderful friendship. With time it blossoms into a magical love for one another.

Another Good Book by C Anderson
This was another good book by Catherine Anderson. Rainnie Danning plans to escape her husband by staging her death, as he is abusive, really nasty piece of work. She goes to a town called crystal falls, where she meets Parker Harrigan. This is about a woman who has been abused, and she falls in love again with the lovely Parker. THe great thing about this one, is that they didnt fall into bed together to soon due to her traumatic past. Lovly Love story.
