CB99 38-Inch To 62-Inch Telescopic Snow Removal Car Brush with Ice Scraper

This is a really nice snow brush! Have not used it yet as it is only October, but judging by the construction and functionality, it will work very well. The brush/squeegee end is 10" wide, swivels, and locks in place with a push button. On the other end, the ice scraper can be removed to clear ice off if the entire long brush is not needed. I like that feature. Very good sturdy construction, and worth the money in my opinion.

This is the best scraper/brush I've owned and I've been on the search a long time. Living in Michigan, winter can be harsh and there's nothing more frustrating than running late for work and fighting with your scraper to clear your windshield enough to drive safely. I have to park in the street which means when we have a big snow, I can't easily clear the car from the passenger side, thus the need for a functional extendable scraper. I've tried a half dozen different kinds of extendable scraper/brushes but the quality and efficacy on this takes the cake. The only downside is that even in it's most compact state, it's a pretty large footprint. A small price to pay, in my opinion, for a well made tool.

I have used the small hand held 5 dollar products for the past 4 yrs and they were a pain to work with. Having a telescopic makes life so much easier while cleaning the roof of your car. Using the soft scraper removes most of the snow loosely attached to the surface of the car in one clean swipe. The brush helps clean snow dust or light snow from your windshield easily. the hard scraper is nice to clean ice from the wind shield. Having a foam grip all throughout the handle makes it much more comfortable to use it during bitter cold days. It is also sturdy and doesn't buckle, bend or flop when cleaning heavy wet snow. The telescopic arm collapses to a small size so you can stow it away easily. all in all a good purchase. I hope it lasts a long time and serves me well trough future new england snow storms:)

The Dart Snow removal pole allows one to push or pull the snow off the car more easily than the typical wand brushes. In a few pushes or pulls the snow is off the car making for fast snow removal and less exertion. The Dart has foam the full length of the pole with good finger grips built in, a good idea for people with grip issues. Update: 3-3-14 I reduced my rating from four stars to one star. The extension pole does not lock into place since its lock control is made of plastic and no longer allows one to set the pole length. The scraper head keeps coming off no matter how many times I carefully put back on the pole. Also, as I said, the scraper leaves black marks on my car's silver paint finish. This product is not worth the money. A friend purchased the Hopkins-80037-Extension-7-Position snow brush and is satisfied with it; it will be my choice, too.

i am very impressed with this scraper/squeegee/brush. it's sturdy, the telescoping mechanism is simple to use and works well. the squeegee, brush, and scraper are made of solid, sturdy materials. this did a great job of getting my car cleared off quickly and effectively this winter with no damage to my vehicle. it was easy to avoid getting snow and ice on myself with this scraper and i wasn't stuck standing in the cold for a long time to get the car cleared off. the telescoping feature allowed me to reach the top of my car easily yet allowed the unit to fit easily in the back of my car for transport.

My wife for a few years now had this product and I liked it so much I decided to buy one because I could not find one locally. This is great for cleaning off snow from one side of your car, truck or suv. I am 6'6" tall but it is still hard to reach across a car windshield and push snow which is better than pulling it onto your boots. I like that this extends to a few different lengths while still being very sturdy. When there is ice I prefer to detach the ice scraper from the whole unit so as to get more power behind scraping ice, plus the squeegee/bush side is not in your way. This detachment option is a great addition. I like that the squeegee/brush end also can be adjusted to different angles but I don't usually use it but my wife being shorter has used it in that way. My only complaint is that when cleaning vehicles off while the device is extended water from the snow gets on the metal and if cold enough refreezes so you can not retract back so it is stuck at 62 inches if fully extended and that is tough to fit in a car or suv. Not a big deal but some people when in a hurry may want to put this back in their car and it won't retract so I would suggest when cleaning off your vehicle to start it first to warm it up and then after cleaning and it won't retract hold the metal part over the vent and it should melt the ice enough to close it. That or buy some ice melt spray that they sell for car door locks and use that. Otherwise I am very happy with this for both snow removal and ice scraping as well as squeegeeing windows that are dirty from winter driving. ***UPDATE*** I bought two more of these for my wife to replace the original one she had that had broken while moving, and one for my mother-in-law who said she needed one. I really like this product and when I take it out at work or in my neighborhood people are always impressed with how quickly it clears off snow and that I can clear my SUV from one side of the vehicle instead of cleaning one side then moving to the other side. Great product. ***UPDATE*** 3/11/2015 Here in the Southeast Pennsylvania we received a 8 inch heavy wet snowfall the other day. I used this Dart extendable scraper/brush a few times the day it snowed on a couple of cars. I went out to clean off the cars when there was about 3 inches or so on the cars as to not stress the product with the predicted 8+ inches of snow. On the last car of the last cleanup after the snow had stopped the scraper/brush broke. Right at the plastic piece that locks or unlocks the extendable metal piece. I still could use it but I noticed that this may be the last time as it was looking over stressed and may have a catastrophic failure. The next day I contacted Dart through their website explaining what happened and have yet to get a response back. I have lowered my review because of this as a product is only as good as they company that stands behind it. I can easily replace this product but it would be nice to hear the company respond to a customer email about a product that I did not misuse in any way that happened to brake upon use. Hopefully I will hear back soon.

The brush is solid enough, constructed of metal and high tensile plastic. It has plenty of length for my pickup truck and my wife's SUV. It's drawback is the fit of the telescoping handle (too tight, it binds), and the mechanism that allows the handle to telescope. While using the brush, snow builds up under the lever you push to telescope the handle, and you have to clear the snow before you can push the lever and collapse the brush to it's original length. This makes it very inconvenient when your in a hurry. The squeegee on the back of the brush is pretty useless to me, maybe others would use it. The best part of the brush is the detachable ice scraper, it's very handy when clearing ice not to have the long handle in your way.
