ideal solution for pickups or trucks ... small enough to fit under the axle and lifts tall enough to lift frams if needed ideal combination and has lots of lifting power ... works great ... mine came with box saturated with hydraulic fluid from overpressure valve venting ... and it takes a LOT of pumping to raise it up so ... be a bit patient ... it is a high volume jack cylinder and a small pump volume ... good ratio to lift heavy loads ... but that means lots of pumping to get it up valve was "stiff" so expect to need a bit more force first few uses to get it open enough to go down ... and closed enough to go up. Once used a few times it is fine ... mostly they just painted the threads ... and you need to work that out of the threads on the "valve" unit first uses ... fine points of quality polish as not there ... but who cares ... it works, does as good a job as the 300 buck units ... and is durable as hell ... not buying it for an art exhibit anyhow ...

The Jack is nice and heavy, welded base. I lifted the back of my 763 bobcat with it for my first test, It worked well. I bought it for my Ram 3500, to keep in my truck, it fits in my RAM box. I only gave 4 Stars, because the nice welded jack, has a cheesey plastic release screw. Also, the screw is too close to the ground, it's hard to release slowly. You used to be able to turn release screws with the end of the jack handle. The handle won't fit over the screw at all. I'm disappointed in the release screw quality. It's extremely cheap, compared to the rest of the jack!

Bought two of them. They looked identical. Threaded out the ram extensions and no issues there. I pumped them both up about an inch and was able to push the ram down by hand and a little chest weight. Pretty much like any bottle jack of this size or smaller. Took one along with a shipping container lift and lifted a corner of my 40 foot hi-cube. This shipping container is full of stuff but this particular corner also had 700 lbs of bentonite clay piled in it. Lifted the container effortlessly, ram fully extended, but not before the jack submerged a 6" thick solid concrete retaining wall brick into the soft ground. I need a bigger brick. I should've taken a video but forgot. Soon I'll see how each lifts the back end of my 17k pound backhoe and post the results. Oh yeah. I bought this same jack 20 years ago. Used it a ton! It finally started to leak. I didn't have time to rebuild it so I bought this new one. After using it about 10 times, the oring in the pump is already starting to deteriorate and leave black junk on the side of the pump. Also doesn't feel smooth when pumping anymore. This one is all welded together so you can't rebuild it.
