Trouble with the sound. even at highest setting it is not what I consider acceptable. Not me, I have great hearing. Don't know if I did something wrong when I installed unit or not. Has anyone else had this problem? AB
Can anyone tell me if it has an A/V port?
Does it have for a HDTV connection
Has anyone used this successfully with Verizon FIOS (Non-HD channels) without a converter box.

solid space saver
this replaced a slightly larger screen my sons insisted on twisting everytime the went to the kitchen table... every 2 or 3 days I'd have to push it back to protect it from falling onto the floor. The Venturer screen is the largest I've seen. The 270 degree swivel means it can go to either side... even though it turned opposite the way we usually watch it, getting it face on to the table left of the screen as we look at it from the front is no problem.Picture quality and sound are great. DVD is built in, & works without problem.I have only 2 even minor issues:1st... CAUTION when installing... our cabinet was shallow enough there was nearly not enough room to fix it in place... I had to drill a 2nd set of holes 1/2" forward of where the paper template said holes should be drilled, so PUT THE UNIT UP BEFORE YOU DRILL TO MAKE SURE IT FITS!!!2nd... the remote IR sensor is at the front of the unit... including when the screen is turned left or right. We have at times found it impossible to change the station or volume from where we were sitting... a mirror on the fridge has helped in our case. All in all, it was a great investment... saves us counter space, is better protected than the set it replaced, & went up without a real hitch of significance.

Very nice appearance
I have read good and bad reviews for this device. I think some are fake. Here are the facts;1) The device looks very nice when installed. The screen can be folded up, out of the way if you so desire.2) I have read that the remote only works when close up. That is not true. However, the remote requires a fairly expensive and somewhat hard-to-find battery. I suspect that those who experienced this problem were using the wrong battery.3) The device uses the same codes as newer LG televisions. This can be a problem if you have an LG TV nearby.4) The sound quality is just OK - nothing special. But what do you expect from an under-the-cabinet device?5) Input is limited to an antenna input and a video 75 ohm cable input. That is all it needs, though.6) The antennas are not very good - I really could not find a way to position the antenna to make the radio very useful. But it is OK for TV and DVD's. Keep in mind that as TV's go digital, though, you will have to have a converter to input the digital signal to this TV.7) The picture is OK - not great - but again, very adequate for an under-cabinet TV.I like the device, but I had to work out the problem with my LG TV. I ended up using a Monster Remote, and powering one device with their remote IR blaster, and the other directly. The Monster Remote is very cool in that it can be programmed so that it sends signals for one device only through its remote IR blaster, and the other signal direct from the remote to the TV. I fastened the IR blaster to the device and put some black electrical tape over it, and it only reacts to the remote when I want it to.

Don't bother - this thing is junk
Ordered this as a replacement for an old Sony 7" under-cabinet tv that served us well for many years until our cable company went all digital (I could have gotten the digital converter from the cable company, but elected not to because I really wanted a larger screen)My primary complaint is that the TV did not work. Now, since this is primarily a TV, that's kind of a deal-breaker, isn't it? When I attempted to select a channel (any channel), the TV would work fine for about 10 seconds before dropping the sound and picture entirely. Sometimes it would come back on for a few seconds before dropping out again, but mostly I was just staring at a blank screen.Having read other reviews, I was aware that this had happened to others, but took a chance anyway since there are not many options for a space-saving under-cabinet TV/Radio with a larger screen. Oops. I guess I'll pay more heed to future warnings. Still, I do see that others haven't had the digital tuner problems, so your mileage may vary.Anyway, packed it all up and I'm returning it today a little wiser, but still TV-less.For whatever it's worth, a few final thoughts:On the plus side, the unit was simple to install and included all necessary hardware and a handy template for drilling holes in your cabinet. There was just enough room out the back to feed the coaxial cable, and the power cord even has an excess storage reel to wind the cord so you don't have it dangling down on your counter. The remote is magnetic and stuck surprisingly well to the side of my fridge. Controls on both the TV and the remote were comprehensive and really not all that difficult to use. Picture quality was alright for as long as it lasted (10 seconds or so).Other problems were sort of tinny sound quality (again, I could only listen for about 10 seconds). The build quality of the unit is pretty much crap. The plastic chrome veneer on the surface of the unit was buckling and dented in a few spots and felt really cheap. The swivel/folding mount for the screen also felt flimsy and I'm not sure how much abuse it could put up with before failing. We never did test the DVD player, so I don't really know if that works or not.So, take a chance on this if you simply MUST, but don't say I didn't warn you.

Venturer KLV3915 15.4 inch Undercabinet LCD TV/CD/DVD Combo
The product arrived on time and was as indicated. The unit appears well made and looks attractive once installed. Installation is fairly easy and it fits nicely under normal height kitchen cabinets. The picture quality is excellent and controls are easily mastered, both on the unit and the remote with a basic understanding of technical terms. The sound quality is satisfactory but is lacks the quality sound found in some models. I purchased it due to limited space in kitchen for a larger unit and wanted a combination package. If you have the space, I would consider a larger TV unit that could be wall mounted, with a sound bar.http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B002RGDZ1Q/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title

Great Bang for Buck
Love the unit size, specifically screen, great reception... all of which folds away in a nice compact package... well Done! An improvement in the speaker quality would make this an awesome multi-purpose unit.

Fast shipping and excellent packaging. The Leatherman tool feels very premium and sturdy.
The KLV3915 is especially great for the cooks in the family who love to watch TV or catch up on the latest DVD while they prepare meals since it is so easy to angle. It twists and flips up and down so you can aim it right towards you as you work. The flip-up screen works as a space-saver and allows you to use counter space when the product is not in use. It has an AM/FM tuner, can play DVDs and CDs, has easy-clean controls, a kitchen-timer feature, and magnetic remote control. The TV has built-in ATSC/NTSC tuner for Digital and Analog TV channels. Watch it, enjoy its vivid images and quick play back, and then when you're done - simply close it.
Size really does matter
The 15.4\" display (measured diagonally) is large enough for a great picture, yet easily fits between a kitchen cabinet and a counter. It's only 2.1\" thick when closed. The Venturer KLV3915 mounts under a 11.9\" by 14.4\" cabinet or shelf space. The product is easy to install since it comes with a special template that allows for easy, accurate location of the mounting holes. The mounting hardware can accommodate cabinets with overhangs and those that have flush undersides.
