Ionic Pro Compact Filterless Air Purifier for Home, Cleans Up to 300 sq.ft

I had 3 of the Ionic Pro Compacts in my life. I found my first 3 used at Restore and bought them for 20 dollars each. I liked very much that they were fanless and super quiet. They helped my brother with allergies and even mold. I liked the cleanable and reusable filters. When we moved to another location, we found from our landlord that the apartment had a severe mold problem. We were actually amazed at how well the ionizer kept the mold from hurting us (though we were also glad to get out of the older place when we found out what we were dealing with, the landlord then remediated the place when she was getting it ready for renting to another person). We lost all the ionizers in a wildfire that had burned down our house. They were faithful and reliable. We decided to get another one from Amazon to help with the smoke from nearby wildfires and it has already served us as well as the older ones. The only thing I had to get used to is that the price has gone up, but it seems that this is a bigger issue than the product itself. It seems everything is more expensive. We still like it and were happy to supplement the HEPA filters that we already have.

I purchased 2 for my house. I was thinking it could not clean the air the way it did. and I might have to go back to filtered air purifiers, which cost more money to run. I had plugged it in after reading all instructions. Figured give it one hour to compare it to a regular purifier. I didn't need the full hour. The air was so fresh. It was super quiet, no fan noise, I could turn down the volume of my TV . It worked so well that I decided this is what everyone on my list is getting for Christmas. It is soooooo easy to clean. It really does remove stuff from the air. My blades on the machine when the cleaning light comes on really makes me grateful. It is easy to clean. I wish I had gotten this type of air cleaner years ago. This is worth every penny I paid. I think they have underrated this machine. I do not have it in in a medium room but in a large room. It cleaned the air in that room in 45 minutes. I love that when I am cooking it helps to remove the lingering orders. I walk in from being outside no fish smell from cooking. I will say it does not allow fragrant smells to be strong in the air. You will have to work hard to over power the machine.

Keeps my home clear from wildfire smoke. Easy clean. Economical. Wpuld purchase again, but I highly doubt I'll need to because it's durable.

I had the larger version of this product previously. When it croaked I replaced it with this version. It is small but the appearance is just like the picture. I clean it once a week and there is always plenty of dust and debris it had captured on the blades. It is efficient and easy to clean by simply pulling up on the blades and washing with soap and water. It comes already set up just plug it in and use it. My air quality and sleep quality have improved since using this purifier. It is very durable And would be difficult to break

Do not buy!! Gives off horrible amounts of ozone!! We were not aware as 3 of us have asthma. Ozone is bad for your lungs. Totally defeated the reason for our purchase. My son has a horrible respiratory system, which is why we purchased this product. My asthma has been flaring up since we turned them off and they only ran for one and half days. Having a very difficult time getting the smell out of our home.

I bought this to deodorize my massage room. The lady I rent a treatment room from uses multiple strong plug-in air fresheners throughout the office which my clients and I are sensitive to whether it be asthma, migraines or other autoimmune conditions.If I keep the door closed and this ionizer on all the time, the air in my treatment room smells and feels clean and crisp. I no longer have the migraines and the clients I thought I would lose because of the air fresheners are continuing to see me.Thank you Ionic Pro for saving my sports massage practice!!

So far, this "purifier" works as it is supposed to. I've only had it a few days. However, I have discovered two notable problems. First, if you like to sleep in total darkness, then you cannot run this in the bedroom at night. The blue LED indicator light is BLINDINGLY BRIGHT. I fixed it by putting a piece of black electrical tape over it, but that was just a poor engineering oversight. It could have been 100 times less bright and still work.The second thing I noticed, and the seller(s) should be faulted for this, is that the manufacturer is no longer in business. For any product that is being disposed of because the company is out of business, it should sell at a STEEP discount, like 1/3 or 1/4 the normal price. They quit in early 2024; BONECO North America Corp is the actual company, Envion is the brand name. When I went to register it for warranty, the web site listed did not exist. I haven't tried the phone number. You won't be able to get replacement parts. The instructions suggest you can buy extra collection blades for continuous operation, because after deep cleaning, you are to let them air dry for 24 hours to be sure they are dry. This could be why some people complained of crackling noises, etc., because they failed to follow directions. For this reason alone (not in business), it probably shouldn't even get 3 stars. But it does work as advertised, for now.

update: one broke, wire snapped and Envion replaced it; had bought two more, one replaced, so now I have 5 ionic Pro running in my 700 sq ft apartment. Now here is the thing, over the last couple of years I seem to have develop COPD which is a lot of phlegm in my chest and during a bout of coughing up a lot of phlegm one night (bear with me on this story) I turned off my bedside Ionic pro and my irritated coughing stopped immediately, so I turned off all 5 of my ionic pros thinking that perhaps that it was an ionic ozone irritation and I just kept my two Dyson Air purifier on. It did seem better for awhile and than one day, once again my COPD returned and as I sat in front of my Dyson Air purifier I could feel the mucus/phlegm running down my breathing tube (could be just nasal drip from allergies) and I could feel myself all choked up. Turned off my Dyson Air Purifier and voila... I felt much better? is it Allergens in the air being pushed around by the air purifier? SOOO I turned off both Air Purifier and out of desperation I turned all 5 Ionic Pros back on (3 in the living room, 1 in the hallway and 1 beside my bed) and for the last two days, I can finally breath again. My COPD (self diagnosed COPD) cleared up and is gone and I am giving credits back to the Ionic Pros. It could be psychological but it does seem that the ionic pros are doing something; perhaps eliminating dust, dust mites and other dander floating in the air. Also without the Dyson Air Purifier running 24/7 my apartment is SOOOO quiet now with absolutely no noise from all 5 ionic pro running 24/7. As to the blue light I use black electrical tape to cover the light. Also I read that people have been having a tough time cleaning the blades, well I just use Sunlight dish washing detergent and my fingers to swipe up and down the blades until clean. No soaking just like washing the dishes and the sticky grime comes clean with Sunlight dish washing detergent just like all my greasy pots and pans. I am breathing fine today all thanks to the ionic Pros. As a side note, I will still keep my Dyson Air purifiers around but probably not blowing into my face which I thought for several years were theurapuetic but it turns out that it was the ionic pros that did the heavy air purification and the dyson air purifier was just pushing the ions around.Original Review: I use to have 3 sharper Image ionic Breeze and when I heard about the ozone generator I sold all my ionic breeze and this was almost a decade ago. However I really miss the freshness of an ionic generator and it seems it is coming back in fashion without the ozone generator. In fact I have been running my 3 new Environ Ionic Pro compact 24/7 and I don't smell any ozone at all however I had an ion tester and for sure these ionizers do produce a lot of negative ions. I have a lot of allergies combined with asthma and after running these ionic pro ion generator I haven't had any snuffy nose nor any asthma symptoms. I also have the Dyson hot-cool air purifier which does the rest of the job. Cannot have too many air purifier especially in the hay fever month. I have also tried those ion plug ins but they are not worth the money because although they seem to generate the ions, they are stuck on the device itself. I ran my ion tester against the wall plug versions and there were no negative ions in the air but if you touch the ion tester to the nods the tester would shoot up to the max. The envois Ionic Pro produces negative ions that the tester can measure without have to touch any nodes. The air is full of negative ions and you can feel the energy in the air. If you are looking for a good ion generator, this is it.... the only real ionic breeze replacement without the ozone. I have 3 of these and I'll never sell mine again.

llego dañado y lo voy a regresar pq le faltaban piezas y estaba todo empolvado como si hubiese estado en algún aparadorla verdad es un mugrero no lo compre nadie eso es lo que merece una persona que envía material en mal estado y a sabiendas de que lo esta haciendo pq lo empacaron como si fuera nuevo y le faltan piezas ojala y nadie lo compre

ah, ici on aime bien les chandelles et l'encens, nous avons aussi des ami(es) qui fument et ce purificateur d'air fait vraiment une différence. Juste du bon air! on l'adore!
