Stellar Photo/Video 18" CFL Compact Fluorescent Ring Light

Connecter at bottom of light different that what was advertised. Compare http://i.imgur.com/B9PSXI9.jpg with third product image. Product image depicts as sturdier connector. I know because I ordered the exact same item about a year back. The quality then was great. With my two recent orders of the same item, Stellar Lighting replaced the great connector what a very cheap plastic connect shown in the imgur link above.To add insult to injury, check out the bag that the light came in. Wow, such bad quality control. Ordered this as a birthday gift for my partner and when it arrived to my surprise there was no stand which I would have ordered if I knew but I assumed that for $270 it would be a complete product. When he opened it the light was scratched and badly packaged which made him think it was used and refurbished. So embarrassing to give not only an incomplete gift but also a shoddy looking one. Advice for other people looking to purchase: buy directly from Stellar

Excellent product. I originally saw this product at the big WPPI trade show in Las Vegas this past March and I thought it was very cool. Very easy to set up and use. Comes with an extra bulb and a nice carrying case. The light itself is dimmable and gets pretty bright when turned up all the way. I like that the ring is large enough that I can easily stand back and shoot through it with a long lens without catching the ring itself in the shot. The only negative about it to me is that I wish it had a longer power cord. No big deal though since I can easily fit a long extension cord in the case along with the light.

This product is wonderful for videos. I currently make YouTube videos and the lighting is wonderful. However, when I received this there were no instructions or any paperwork explaining more in detail about the product. It would've helped to know what kind of tripod I would've needed as well. I bought the one that was usually bought when buying this product, however it doesn't fit it properly. I still use it, but it's not correctly set up.

Amazing light! Perfect for portraits. I bought this light because I use to used to only use 2 softbox lights to light the face. The lighing would sometime be uneven on the face, creating unflattering shadows. I thought this would be really good to give a all around even lighting, and it really does. Really good light every photographer needs this.BTW, the first time i ordered this light it came in broken, customer service was great and gave me a full refund when i sent it back. Then i re-ordered another one and when it came in, it was in perfect condition.

This is literally the best ring light available. Don't be fooled by lower priced ones, there's a reason they are lower priced - they might be ok quality but they aren't the highest quality like this Stellar light is. This is so much better than box lighting, too.

Light came on time and after reading reviews I literally was like "Please dont be broken... Pleeaaseee dont be broken".IT WASN"T BROKEN!!The light works well and overall gives a great lighting and looks AWESOME when taking pictures... I'm so glad I got this!!

the first one i bought it i connect it with the electricity and it "BOOOOOOM" in my face lol , I can`t connect it with my country electricity directly, be careful !
