Good stuff
Used it on a case for bagpipes, yes bagpipes. I kind of did a butcher job on it, didnt take the time to accurately cut and measure as I was so anxious to get it installed. The layers are a bit difficult to pull apart. However, I think if you dont rush, look at what you want to protect, measure accurately and lay it out, you would be very satisfied. Way better than the softer foam, which will fall apart. This is solid and will last. Take your time, measure 2x cut 1x and you should be very happy. I am already thinking of my next project....

Don't buy this foam!
Here's the thing: if you (like me) are buying this foam so you can make custom indented compartments for tools, etc...you want the layers to peel away neatly. In fact--that's really the reason you are buying *this* kind of foam, not the solid stuff. Take a tip from me and save your money. Wish I had. Seen from side, it *appears* there are strata (layers) in the foam. But when you cut your outline, then try to excavate neatly to a set depth, it's impossible. The foam just tears randomly. My advice: spend a few bucks more and get some other brand. Don't know why this is called "Kaizen"...it's giving a bad name to great product (which I've used and loved).

Strong Stuff, doesn't peel easily though
Pros: Good product, appears sturdy (only in use for about a week now), pretty easy to customize for your needs and good uniformityCons: Doesn't "peel" as well as I think it should. I had to really dig the pieces out that I cut. I tried cutting as well as burning. Burning creates a nice smooth line but you have to pay attention to the outside of the burn mark or your pockets will be too large.Overall I like the product. Wish it was on PRIME. If this first one mounts up right I'm going to order more to organize my other tool boxes.

unusable all sheets stuck together
I didnt get around to using these foam sheets for 2 months and when I did they are all stuck together. I cannot separate them without it ripping.
