These pencils are used for sketching.

This is the best pencil brand (so far). I grew up with these as my dad wouldn’t allow any other pencil brand in the house except this one lol. Ticonderoga is really top notch! Even my son’s school requires the students to have this brand. I also use them for my art classes for sketching. Best all around.

I purchased Ticonderoga pencils when the kids were in elementary school at the recommendation of a friend. Everyone in the house loved them so much that when I purchased another brand because they were on sale, everyone complained. I had to go out and get some more of these as a result. Ticonderoga pencils are the only kind we purchase since that day over 20 years ago. These pencils write smoothly without the scratching like some other brands do. They write clearly on paper in a pad or the single sheet on the table. Excessive pressure is not required. They sharpen evenly in the electric pencil sharpener or in the old fashioned silver wall crank style (yep we have one of those). The erasers perform as a pink eraser should without smearing or creating black smudges. I recommend these pencils to everyone as the most reliable easy to use pencil.

I thought a pencil was a pencil till I got a box of these bad boys. I was inspired to write, heck I'm even doing crosswords now.Great pencil.

Fantastic pencils. When I sharpened the first one, all the wood came of in a very long single spiral with no breaks, no catching the wood kind of snags whatsoever. lead depth of color is just fine. High quality erasing too. My choice from now on. the 36 pencils will last me a long time though !!

What’s the matter Dixon? Can’t pre-sharpen? You just assume everyone has the money for a sharpener or a knife? What about the poor? What about the not-poor who have better use for their time than sharpening pencils?Kidding. Good pencils. Easily sharpened.

I bought these because this was the brand our teachers used to recommend back in Grammar School, many moons ago. Surprisingly, they still have the same quality. Speak about longevity!

Basic office supplies. Ticonderoga are my go to #2 pencil. My dad gave me one of these to use in grade school, and I’ve stayed with this brand ever since. Reminds me of him. Arrived quickly, without damage. Happy !!
