Loved this. Good and durable, good value for the money with how big and the material its made of. Good design too.

I've been using this feeder for 8 months and it has held up fairly well. I clean it with vinegar water and a scrub brush about once a week (every two weeks in the winter) and have only notices some discoloration on the bottom.You must do the modifications others have mentioned to prevent injury to your birds. I put small bolts with washers in each exposed hole before introducing it to my birds and no issues with injuries. I also use an ice cream lid when weather is wet to prevent the food from clumping and it works well. I may purchase the pot lid other reviewers have mentioned.This feeder works better when you hang it. The flow of food is not good if it just sits on some bricks (as I did when the birds were young) and is much better when you hang it. The adjustable feed height is nice, too.Overall, this was a good purchase and I will continue using this feeder. But you must modify it to protect your birds.

It preforms as it should and is quite sturdy. So much better that the plastic ones that I had. Good value for the money.

My one year old plastic chicken feeder broke unexpectedly (and the plastic of it didn't break, rather the thin ring at the top that it hung from) so I needed something to replace the broken one with, and most of the metal ones I found were $30-50, and I really didn't want to spend that much - then I found this one.The price was pretty close to what I paid for the old plastic feeder I had, and it certainly looked durable, so I ordered it. There is some very minor assembly involved when it arrived, but it was together in like 1 minute. One word of caution - as other reviewers have mentioned, there is a small hole near each of the metal supports that attach the top to the bottom. Some reviewers mentioned how their chickens stuck their beaks in the hole, resulting in some cuts - I can confirm this is true, and my hens would definitely be the ones that would get hurt doing this. To fix, I just took some short bolts and put through the holes, and a nut on the inside to keep them in place - PROBLEM SOLVED.Those holds a ton of feed, I probably only put about 5-6 pounds in it, but it can clearly hold more. The only hiccup was when I put it in the coop and the chickens were scared of the shiny surface of the feeder, but after about a day, they decided that eating was more important than being scared of a shiny thing full of food, and its a routine to them now.I have 6 chickens, this could probably feed a couple more than that though. It's very durable, and I think this thing will last a long time. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the holes in the side, but it's a quick fix, for sure. If you have a small flock, this is a perfect feeder.

This product is well built and does its job of holding feed and providing it as needed when the chickens are feeding. Would buy again if needed.

Bought this to feed 9 chickens. It works great. It doesn't move a lot from them all pecking at once. If one of them runs into it, it will move but it's pretty sturdy and does it's job perfectly.

The price is excellent and I like it is adjustable, sturdy, assembled easy, and looks like it is easy to clean, except for there is no cover lid to keep the feed in the container clean, or from dirt and foriegn objects from getting into the chicken feed. So, it would be really helpful if it had a lid or top to cover the feed and keep it clean.

Really like this galvanized hanging feeder. It's very sturdy & holds ample feed for our 13 chicks. It's a quality product that looks nice hanging and/or placed on ground. We've have it several months now & it has withstood extreme heat & rain thus far. Chicks enjoy eating from it. Love the ability to raise or lower bin. Pleased with purchase
