It's all about the SPF in it. Previous foundations discontinued their SPF.
I like that it has the SPF 15 in it. Smooths out my complexion/freckles without the burning that most sun blocks cause on the face, especially when the sweat starts running into your eyes. BTW, I live at the beach and prior to that the mountains, so UV light is a big deal for me. Of course, I also wear a visor or hat and sunglasses when out in the sun. Cuts down on the crows feet from squinting.
