Cedar Delite - Book Stand - RCFNS265X360-LC

I just received this today - it arrived very quickly. I love to read while I eat dinner and I wanted something that would prop my Kindle in it's cover up at the right angle to read comfortably (hands free) while I ate. This book stand is perfect! I am so glad I did a thorough search and found this product. I would highly recommond this to anyone looking for a ebook reader or regular book stand.

Given that there are an almost unlimited number of very functional bookstands on amazon.com, I chose this one due to it's nice visual design. Yes, it does work fine, like I'm sure many of the other bookstands on amazon do, however, the quality is pretty bad. Either I got a used (!) one, a display model, or the quality control just sucks. There are odd nicks and marks all over it, the rubber feet are clearly old and used and not tacky and the arms are slightly rusted.

My sister in law loves hers I gave her for Christmas. It’s really well made too.

I bought it to hold my cookbooks and it is terrific. Beautifully made, nice looking, works perfectly, great size, holds all my various-sized cookbooks steady so I can work away on my meal preparation.

I chose this book stand for the simple lines of its design and the cedar construction; the stand I received does not disappoint. The design manages to blend lightness and strength wonderfully. I was pleasantly surprised by the chestnut color (very nice red tones), which looks different from the image on screen. A product that looks better in person! The wood has a smooth finish, and the subtle cedar fragrance is a nice touch.

The book stand is very well made and is of 100% wood with three adjustable positions. It is so light and the surface is very soomth. I like it so much that I ordered the second one just a few minutes after it was delivered. Highly recommend it.
