A few items to check if not working or leaking. These are working great!
Neat little valves! I had one leaking that I could not remedy. The leak was where the brass cylinder(where the plunger is inside) is crimped onto the threaded end. I had removed the solenoid by removing the nut on top and then came back hours later and a water drip was hanging off at the threads near that brass crimped seam. I got a replacement valve and I'm good to go. Do not overtighten the nut that holes the solenoid on. That nut only keeps the solenoid in place and not a lot of force is required. Over tightening that nut will cause the threaded part to pull out of the brass part. Don't ham fist it. I had another that was not flowing nearly as much as the others and I took it apart and found a small metal flap that didn't get removed during manufacturing and it was clogging the hole(see pic). I took a small needle and worked it free and now that valve works great. I also had a piece of debris make its way into the valve so removing the plunger allowed me to remove the small piece of bark that made its way into the line when assembling. That threaded end is pulled on by the solenoid securing nut which pulls directly on that crimped brass seam. I feel like this was over tightened at the factory compromising the crimped joint resulting in a leak. That nut only needs to be tight enough to not loosen over time. The solenoid doesn't rely on heavy torque on that nut. Returning and getting a replacement.

Almost exactly the same as the original
The solenoid works perfect thank you.

Serviceable
Made a miniature flame effect with it and it worked great. It doesn't say it is made for LP fuel gas so when it started to leak I assumed it was because the butane ate up the o-ring and that it would be impossible to fix. It was actually very easy to take off the coil and check the seal, where I found some plastic in there (my fault, got blown in from the jenky valve connection below) and took it out. I'm impressed with the size, cost and how easy it is to repair.

Valve 2V025 - Defective in manufacture
I bought two of these valves and I had a very short timeline to install them prior to an extended holiday. I was using them as dosing units for aquariums and it was important for me to continue to dose plant nutrients whilst away, now one tank will be without this feature due to the faulty valve. I installed the dosing units and noticed one of the nutrient holding containers was draining away much faster than the other, even though they both have the same control unit. I couldnt see the leak to begin with because the exit part of the valve couldnt be seen but I suspected the valve.... I managed to set it up differently so I could see the exhaust part of the valve, and sure enough a slight drip started to form when the valve was supposed to be closed. I dismantled the valve and found as you can see in the photos the seating for the valve was defective and this allowed fluid to pass through the valve when closed. maybe I have just been unlucky as the other valve works perfectly. So regarding impact, because of my need for this system before holiday, one aquarium will not have dosed nutrients, which is a pity.

This is just what was needed for the job.
Needed a valve for a mister system for the chicken coop. Using a solar panel for power and a small thermostat, I used this valve, It controls the house line pressure and feeds a needle valve to reduce the flow rate to the mister. The whole system runs on 12 Volts from the solar panel. For this valve I would suggest it for anyone looking to play around with a small project.
