I was a little nervous buying this journal because I didn’t want stark white pages in the vintage leather binding, but it turns out the pages are flecked with small bits of unusualness and they look absolutely incredible! I love the binding, everything seems to be very solid and well made and it’s absolutely a perfect journal for what I needed. If I ever want to buy a journal as a gift, I know exactly which one to get!

I agree with a previous reviewer that the pages are challenging to write on due to the texture of the paper...however, the rustic texture is what I wanted, so I have enjoyed discovering how best to write. I enjoy drawing in this journal (doodling) as I record my thoughts and feelings. It feels very much like writing in a book I might have crafted by hand myself, and that is satisfying.I use fine tipped markers frequently and the pages hold the ink well without bleeding through to the next page.It is a reasonable price and I am very happy I have it:)

I'm using this journal to keep track of my thoughts and feelings during the pregnancy to potentially give to my daughter at some point in the future. The journal itself has a nice quality feel to it and the pages are really nice quality for the price point. The only reason I removed one star from this review is there is a little bit of overhang from the back cover that swings back over to the front and has the exact same image but cut in half. So on the front it says "Journey" with some footprints and an infinity signal and on the overhanging flap it says "rney" with a footprint and a half and about a quarter of the infinity signal. It's not a big deal but it throws off the aesthetic a bit for me.

This item is perfect for writing and drawing.

Loved it!!! Perfect worth more to me than I thought

I was torn between a 2 and 3 rating here. This journal has some features I love -- the softness and look of the cover, the scent, the style of fastener and the place-marking inside flap. I also like the compact size and the feel of the paper and the fact that it's unlined. Unfortunately, the book is terribly hard to write in, and I write every day. I've tried a variety of different pens, but there seems to be no good solution to the problem. The rustic texture of the paper does not provide a smooth writing surface, and writing on the back of each page requires bearing down on that very cool fastener, which is awkward. Some really good ideas went into the design of this book, and to be fair I rated it 3 stars, but for my use it's flawed. I would not purchase another one.

This is a gift, but the cover feels cheaper than it looks kinda thin and flimsy but makes a good gift

I bought this as a gift for my sister and she loves it. I didn't personally see it so I can't comment further but she did say it's very well made and it makes a beautiful gift for those that like to journal or doodle. I highly recommend it

I absolutely LOVE this notebook. It's extremely well made and unique. I am planning on odering another one in a few weeks. I've had a lot of journals overtime, but this one is my favourite. I added pictures to show my journal, and how unique it is. 10 / 10 would recommend!!!!
