well made leisure shoe
I would describe these as trainers rather than a walking shoe. Very comfortable, well made, and waterproof (tested!), they are a good recreational shoe, but there are better in the price range for walking (see my other reviews). The loops are in fabric rather than metal rings for the laces, which do work undone sometimes. I would have liked more arch support, but maybe that's just me.I take 6-6.5, so bought a 7 as i like to wear walking socks, and they are quite generous in sizing, so would probably buy a 6/6.5 next time for general leisure. I will use them for summer / light / dog walking.

Split after 5 months wear!
I was more than happy with my new walking shoes until they split. I've only had them since October and hardly worn them ( been in cupboard over lockdown) so £45 for 5 months walking doesn't quite cut it.I'll stick to buying from a shop next time, that way if there's an issue there's some hope of resolve. Not even an option to contact seller on Amazon, won't buy this brand again or recommend.

Comfy but poor quality, got 2 months' worth of walking.
Comfy while they lasted, but after 2 months the material at the end (toes) started peeling off, then the soles did so I finished a walk with flapping soles! I got just 2 months of use then had to get rid of them. Not impressed at all.

Comfortable and good-looking lightweight walking trainer/approach shoe
These arrived promptly and look great. I ordered my normal size 5 and they fitted perfectly. I bought them as a lightweight walking shoe for pounding footpaths & pavements and, not only are they are perfect for that purpose, they appear to be well-made to a reasonable quality too. I have walked 8 miles in them, in quite hot weather, and they have been comfy from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.

Support didn't last for very long
I bought these for my trip to Canada and initially they were a good fit, with good support around the foot and just below the ankle, so I thought great. After just 2 weeks of walking through a range of terrain, roads, woods, forests, parks, the cushioning around the ankles became stretched so no longer offering the initial support that they gave. Such a shame as I thought I was on a winner here as the price was really good (£35'ish) and they had great reviews. So I wouldn't recommend them I'm afraid. PS apologies for the late review.

Great for long dog walks in woods
I was wary of buying online but needed them quicker than I could get to a shop. Reviews looked good and I wasn’t disappointed, no rubbing from first wear (I’m normally prone to hurt feet from shoes!), been wearing for long dog walks in muddy/snowy/icy/rainy conditions for a week and I’m impressed, I normally wear trainers for over pronation but these are just as comfortable! Very happy! No wetness so far!

Value for money but sized a bit small.
Good walking shoes for the price, sizing is a little small as I read on other reviews so I got the size up because I'm a large 7 so got an 8 and they fit well. They do take a bit of work to break in but over all I'm very happy with the product for the price. I'm sure I'll put plenty of miles on them. Colour shown is exactly the colour they are.

Very happy to be wearing these!
I have now worn these for 6 days in a row for work, which involves lots of walking in London in all weathers - so this week lots of rain, wind and puddles to contend with.My feet have stayed dry - no wet socks - a miracle! My feet have been completely comfortable! I was quite worried about this as many trainers I've tried over the last few years have been a bit uncomfortable mainly due to a tailors bunion on one foot. But these have been so comfortable - my feet haven't even ached by the end of a 10 hour day wearing these. I was really surprised how light they are.I am usually a 6 and these were true to size.I think so far they are really worth the money I paid for them - £49 - and I'm so pleased I chose them.I suppose the only negative I can think of is that they are not particularly attractive to look at, but not awful either. If I remember I will come back and update about longevity.
