Stanley 94-386W 11-Piece Combination Wrench Set, Metric

This wrench set is standard size and has a high polish finish. The wrenches match the Stanley 11 piece SAE set which I also bought. The longest wrench is a 17mm and is 8.5 inches long, and the shortest wrench is a 7mm and is 4.5 inches. All the sizes are in the set from 7mm to 17mm with no skips. The Stanley tools I've had over the years have been good, so I expect these should also be reliable.

Used these on a brake/caliper replacement and they are good wrenches. They have a nice feel, a good finish and grip well. I was tired of scrounging through my hodge podge of metric wrenches, and having a full set is nice to have on hand. There are times and places a socket doesn't work. The case however is cheap and will more than likely fall apart if used heavily.

This set is a good value for the money. They aren't QUITE as nice as my Snap-On wrenches, but we're only talking one tenth of the price. I expect these should last me a long time. The set came in a plastic holder, not shown in the picture. It's okay as a storage case, but I feel it could have been designed better. Ten of the wrenches fit nicely on edge side-by-side, but the largest one fits flat, no doubt for retail display. Call me picky, but I wish the last wrench also fit on edge so the entire holder could be more compact and fit better in my tool chest.

Not since the Stanley 87-248 11 Piece Satin Finish SAE Long Combination Wrench Set have I seen a metric version of the Stanley 87-248 11 Piece Satin Finish SAE Long Combination Wrench Set. Super awesome, now that I have a metric wrench set I now have something to talk about at evening dinner functions in Germany.

I hesitated a little before purchasing because some of the reviews made me wonder about the wrench quality. I did not have that experience. These wrenches were excellent quality and just perfect for my hobby / workshop.

Just received the Stanley 94-386W. Most wrenches look ok, but the coating on the 17 is just really bad. I could peel off part of it, on another place it bubbles up + the other side looks dirty and already used. Sure these wrenches still will get a lot dirtier, but it is me who should be the first one to do so, not Stanley. I thought I would spend a little more then for the cheap ones to get something decent (how hard can it be to make this right, right?), but apparently it still wasn't enough. I don't feel like going through the hassle of sending them back, just won't order anything from Stanley anymore. (I'll try to add 2 pictures, not sure if it will get through...)

I bought this wrench set to build up my bicycle tool box about a year ago. I've fixed up 5-6 bikes and used every single one in the set but have never needed a size outside of this range. They seem to be good quality and have no signs of wear. Only warning is that they aren't that long so if you need to apply a decent amount of torque you will have difficulty (I have since purchased a large adjustable wrench for that). I'm very happy with the purchase overall.

they are very good, but not like I have used in the past. For small jobs, like bike repair. nothing wrong with this set.

Great set, good price!! They are very good quality wrenches and come in a hangable case, which is nice. The case also fits in my little toolbox quite well.
